3 YAY for everyone who read the story it was only like 2 but it was more than I was expecting so I'm excited

Every mornings the same. Wake up go to work on the ranch. Feed the cattle, help Leon with the English words he can't figure out, stay with Matilda in the kitchen on break then home. Once I get home is when everything happens. I get ready and me Juan, Santos, Costello, and Carmelito go to the bar in town. The night usually ends in each of us taking home a girl. Tonight's different though. Tonight I got home and Mama got me a plane ticket to America.
"Mi hijo it's a good opportunity for you, you got an education u can find work and bring us all over there we can start on a better life"she says her voice soft as she tries to explain why I should do this.
"No quiero mama I don't want to I'm not going all the money spent on that could've helped us around here that money could've been the start of a new life"I practically yell.
"Emmanuel you know as well as I do this pueblo is a dead end we can go to America and make something of ourselves your sister can get an education too we don't have the money to pout her through school anymore and in America everybody had to go to school"she said looking at a sleeping Marisol.
"You expect me to pack up my life to go to a place I never knew with no one there for me"I ask her quietly. She looks at me sadly for a minute.
"Not alone"she says more quiet than ice ever heard her.
"Who is over there for me"I ask
"Your Father"she says. I sit there in shock "he was the one to send the ticket"she finishes. My mind is going a mile a minute but all I can ask is "why".
"He says he wants to get to know his son"she says rolling her eyes. I do the same.
"I'm not telling you to get along with him or be friendly just go there start our better life I'll make money here and we can save up fast and before you know it I'll be by your side"she says. I sit there quietly for a long while but mama doesn't push me. She never has unless I needed the kick in the ass. This might be the first thing she wanted me to do that wasn't only beneficial for me.
"I'm going"I say softly and dejectedly. She kisses the top of my head.
"Always doing the right thing I'm so proud of you"she says I look at her and notice the tears about to spill from her grey eyes.
"I love you so much mijo"she whispers as I pull her into a hug. My face in her stomach.
"I love you too mama"I say
