The sun peeked in through her curtains, making Naryeon open her eyes. She grabbed her phone and turned it on. Her phone said 6:45 AM. Time to get up for work. Naryeon placed her cell down and rolled over onto her back. She really did not feel like getting out of bed at out, especially on a Saturday. She usually has the weekends off. Not today though. Her boss, Choi Jin-Woo asked her to come in because there was a delivery of artifacts that was going to be placed in the museum. Her job was to make sure that the artifacts were in one piece and to record everything in their computer system. She was in charge of that, along with her two co-workers, Do-Won and Eunji If there weren't any deliveries scheduled, she had the option to be a tour guide if needed or to just walk around the museum, keeping an eye on things and answering any questions. It was a very easy and fun job. Naryeon has been working at the museum for five years and was favored by Jin-Woo.
Naryeon slowly dragged herself out of bed and went to the bathroom. She did her skincare routine, brushed her teeth and straighten her hair. Then she walked over to her closet. It was a small closet, but since it was just her, it was perfect. She looked through her tops and decided on a loose black dress. This dress covered everything, thank goodness. It covered her shoulders and decent V-neck. The dress went to her knees. She then slipped on her most comfiest black heels. Naryeon sprayed perfume on her and added a silver key necklace. She looked herself over in the mirror one last time and called it good. She checked her phone again. 7:30 AM.
"Crap!"
She had to be there 8. So she rushed around, grabbing her phone and purse. She would just have to walk fast and catch the bus. She hustled out of her apartment and took the elevator down to the lobby. Her apartment complex only had 8 floors, she was on the seventh. She passed the door man, Mingyu, and said hello and goodbye.
She ran out the doors just to see the bus pulling up. Perfect timing! She went over and the bus doors open. She stepped in, told the driver where she needs to go and paid the fare and went to sit down. The drive wasn't bad at all. It only took five minutes. When the bus pulled up to the museum, she stood and went to exit, saying thank you to the driver.
She walked up the steps to the museum and pulled her name tag out. The automatic doors open and she walked in.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Naryeon!" Said the security guard, Taehyun.
"Morning Taehyun! How are you this morning?"
"Pretty good. Surprised to see you here though."
Naryeon walked over and showed her name tag, since it was protocol. "There's a delivery this morning, so Jin-Woo asked me to come in. Not all day though. He said it was a small shipment so I should be done by noon. Eunji and Do-Won here?" She asked, putting her name tag around her neck.
"Eunji is, but Do-Won is still sick from what I heard. Should be fine by next week though. Just a cold."
"Thanks Tae. Have a good day!"
Naryeon walked away and headed to the door that led to the basement. The door was locked and only certain employee's had a key to get through, Naryeon being one of them. She put the key in, unlocked it and entered, shutting it behind her. She walked down some more steps until she reached the bottom. She saw Eunji standing over by the big doors, talking to Nam-Jin, the main delivery guy.
The click clacking of Naryeon's heels made the two turn around.
"Morning Nari!" Eunji said, walking towards her, with the guy trailing behind. Eunji picked up a cup of coffee that was sitting on the desk and brought it with her. "Here you go. Thought you might need it."
"Morning Eunji. Thank you, you are a life saver." Naryeon turned to Nam-Jin.
"Annyeong, how are you today Nam-Jin?"
