Chapter 38

Checking down all the papers placed on the desk, Taehyung sighs. Picking up his phone for a quick call with one of his clients.

This is another exhausting and stressful day to start. With so many works to do before completing his schedule, a bunch of meetings and conferences to attend and then a big discussion for the next few days.

However stressing out a bit and pressuring himself with a few extra tasks and works did help him to stop the bankruptcy and the bad comeback of the company. Which he is grateful for.

A knock on the door takes him out of the very deep concentration, as he looks down his computer once again. "Come in, Chan."

Bang Chan walks inside the room and greets him, bowing down in respect. "Why're you late?"

"Sorry Mr. Kim, I had some important works to finish this morning. I apologise sincerely if my late arrival caused any disruptions in the works." Bang Chan apologises as he looks down.

"Hm. Make sure not to be late next time. You missed some other urgent works today. But I sent Soobin for it." Taehyung writes down something in the piece of paper and hands it to Bang Chan.

"What was so important, by the way?" Taehyung raises a brow, questioning him about the reason he remarked earlier.

"Sir, my younger sister was very sick this morning I had to take her to the hospital."

"What happened?" Taehyung asks further, wanting a proper answer.

"Uhm... she has some childhood health issues. She gets sick most of the time, many diseases attack her. So basically she gets sick very often and have to visit the hospital." Bang Chan tries to avoid telling him about all the things in details, because he thinks its not required for work purposes. And it is some personal issues that her sister has, which he doesn't wanna share with anyone right at the moment.

"Okay."

"You should start your work now. I guess you can still finish them up before time." Taehyung signals him to go over to his own desk and check his schedule.

Bangchan takes a very close look at the schedule and lists the new meetings that will be held today. "There's a meeting with Mr. Lee and Mr. Kang. Oh, a new client is also coming around today."

"Mr. Kim?" Bang Chan calls out when he gets no response, looking up to his side.

Taehyung hums, leaning on his chair. Bang Chan sighs and repeats his words from earlier as he informs him about the schedule.

"That's all?"

"No sir, there is some other meetings over here too. One of them is with your new client."

"Alright."

"Sir, you have an important discussion meeting for the exhibition this evening, seven pm. But some of the employees are absent today, what should we do?" Bang chan inquires.

"I'm sure I got a application from someone yesterday, they took a two day break. You can inform them about it later, so that they meet up with me after it." Taehyung simply answers.

"Alright sir," replies Bang Chan.

The whole company goes busy as the time slowly passes by. From early morning, to afternoon and evening. The building was gone crowded and bustling.

Employees hurrying to finish their works and submit them to their boss. And preparing for meetings and discussions with him.

On the small break, for lunch Taehyung receives a call from his father once again. Which was enough for him go under a daze and get nervous.

There are two particular options, one pick the phone and two ignore it for a week to go through another storm. Taehyung decides to be serious and talk to him without facing any problems. But being hesitant about it was all the time he took as the phone stopped ringing and went off.
