Chapter 39

The sun shines on the sky peeking through the curtains. As the people in the bustling street could be heard in the early hour of the morning of another wonderful day.

However, theres this two people on the bed of their own, deep asleep. Not at all disturbed in the nap, just sleeping.

But this wonderful sunny day have been waiting for them, happily. Only God knows why He made everything work this way. Probably because that's their great future.

The sound of the cars and horns over the streets wakes Jennie up. As she takes a look around and blinks twice to adjust to the bright light of the sunshine.

Realizing the figure right before her, she looks up and gets stunned to see the view.

Wait a second...! What just happened?!

And then the scene of the night before flashes right before eyes. As she gasps in wonder. It really happened? Oh my, how can she forget about this?? Goddamn it, this is gonna be so embarrassing once he wakes up.

She looks down at herself and sighs in relief. Phew...

She tucks herself into the duvet once again and looks up at Taehyung. He is asleep. Looking peaceful.

But then she remembers his actions last night. God, she still can't believe this. She hopes it wasn't just a dream? No, because the kiss felt so real. It probably happened. But then again she hesitates, wait is this actually right? Or did she just wake up from the dream? Ain't no way because his coat and tie is placed right where she put it last night.

Then she sighs thinking. She just had her first kiss yesterday...and so much more. She still don't know if she can get over this yet. This isn't possible at all though, she have been waiting for this herself, she got it faster than she imagined with a 2x reward as well. What else can she be asking for? The person that she have fallen in love with, and still confused if they love her back or not, had just kissed her and touched literally every inch of her body. Not even a single thing that he haven't seen last night. It was too hot, ain't no way she is thinking of all this and a blushing mess laying right next to him.

She wish he was just like this all the time actually. Like he was drunk that time, so he did so much. But he'll just probably ignore everything and become cold towards her once again, right after he wakes up. This is not what she wants right now.... she wants to feel the love from now on just like she did yesterday.

Right when she goes deeper into her thoughts, she feels a slight movement next to her and knew what was coming. Oof, she can't handle this. This is way too fast. She haven't even processed every single thing, yet he is now awake! Darn it....

Taehyung opens his eyes and quickly closes them after the bright light hits them. He also feels the little discomfort, that he is unsure what's it from. Slowly opening the eyes, he yawns and looked around for a second and then stared at the ceiling. The headache... it's back. What is this severe light headedness from actually? This is so uncomfortable...

He heaves a small sigh and then looks beside him, wait its Jennie..... what is she even doing so close to him? Uhm... this is kind of confusing, only increasing the headache.

His hand on her bare waist... and her face literally so close that they might even just kiss if they move. As Jennie heard him clear his voice, she quickly got up. Not before he did too.

Taehyung stares at her side profile for a second, and tries to remember last night. But it seems like he doesn't remember a single thing except one last thing, his father called him and made him depressed and anxious once again. But nothing else flashes in his mind not even how he ended up being shirtless. What exactly happened, actually? He tries to think a little more.
