Suddenly, Issei's ear was getting pinched hard. Issei immediately looked up to see Matsuda, who was the one who pinched his ear, and Motohama.
Issei: Dude, what is your problem?
Motohama slammed his hands on Issei's desk, causing him to back up.
Motohama: There are some rather odd rumors about you and Ryota-senpai lately, so you might wanna be more careful.
Issei: What rumors?

Meanwhile Koneko was just seen eating a sandwich on a hillside at the academy. She had a carton of milk next to her.

As she was doing this, a shadow came by, which caused her to look up and stop eating for a moment.
It was Ryota. He sat down next to her and put his hand in his pocket. Koneko looked down to see what he was doing.
A second later, Ryota pulled out a chocolate bar and offered it to Koneko. She was surprised a bit, but she accepted the chocolate bar and went back to eating her sandwich.
Ryota nodded a bit and then gently placed his hand on her head, patting it.
However, he stopped after a few seconds and had a hesitation to continue. He put his hand down and looked away.
Unbeknownst to him, Koneko had her eyes closed when he patted her head. When he stopped, she turned to him while he wasn't looking at her.
