Playdate

chapter 2 : crush or not...........

I walked back to my porch and grabbed my stuff before walking into the house shutting the door behind me. I dropped the bags on kitchen counter and my keys in the key bowl.

I unpacked the groceries and went upstairs to take a shower. I came out of the bathroom and suddenly remembered Asher

His smile just flashed in my head and I couldn't help but blush to myself. I remembered his deep charming voice and his muscular body which made me blush even more.

I shook the thought off before walking to the closet.

I put on a peach baggy shirt and white shorts but the shirt covered most of the shorts. I wrapped my hair in a yellow head scarf and wore a pair of long black socks.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a pack of chips and a can of grape soda then I toddled to the living room and plopped on the couch, covering myself with a blanket.

Hours passed as I was still watching my favourite show, when I heard a knock on the door.

I slowly walked towards the door and opened it when Gem and Tilly jumped on me.

My two besties since forever. Gem's full name is Gemma and Tilly is Matilda. We shortened our names and named ourselves GCT.

" Yo, what's up" tilly said while giggling.

" Guys what the hell, you nearly gave me a heart attack. I literally thought I was being grabbed. " I said and they chuckled.

" C'mon char, what are we doing tonight? " Gemma said while getting up.

Tilly and I also got up from the floor and began walking to the couch.

" Umm actually I have something to tell you guys. You got the beer? "

" Duuhhhh, so what do you want to tell us?" gemma asked while raising her left hand with a crate of beer in it.

I sat on the couch with my legs crisscrossed while hanging my right arm on my neck.

" So I uhhh........ Okay I woke up this morning and saw that I had new neighbours and they are the hottest guys ever. "

I kept blabbing about how hot Asher and the other guy were.

" His name is Asher and I was coming home  after work this evening when........... He asked me for my number." I screamed while rapping the last part out.

" Omggg " Tilly and gem screamed as they hugged me.

" Omg char, can't believe you moved on from your last relationship before me. Such a badass. " Tilly said while slightly hitting my shoulder.

" I can't even believe I moved on so quickly either, that's your thing gem" I said in disgusted way and they chuckled.

" And that's not all............ He invited me over to his house."

" Omg char your such a badass. What the hell did you wear that you got a cutie begging for your number " Tilly said while bouncing her eyebrows.

" He didn't beg for it and I wore shorts and a crop top."

We laughed and joked around for a while before watching a movie.

We were half way through the movie when Tilly turned to me and asked " so char, do you like him. Like how bad are you into him?"

" I guess I kinda like him but I'm not sure" I said while stuffing my mouth with chips.

" So you have a crush on him?" Gemma said with a wierd smile on her face.

" Well......... aarrgghhh guys I don't know." I yelled while covering my face with my palms and they laughed.

" Charlotte got a crush " they said at the same time before bursting out with laughter.

Do I really have a crush on Asher???
