Playdate

chapter 6: Mini family.....

I got out of the house and walked straight to mine. I shut the door behind me and ran upstairs to my room. I took off my clothes and the Asher's hoodie then went to the bathroom to have a shower.

I came out in a white towel wrapped around my body and my hair dripping wet. I had also brushed my teeth and flossed before coming out.

I blow dried my hair and applied my facials and make-up then picked an outfit. I wore a black cargo jean with a white bodycon sleeveless shirt and a pink hoodie.

I put on a pair of black socks and pink nike shoes before grabbing a purse and rushing downstairs.

I grabbed my keys on my way out and shut the door behind me.

It was a quick drive to work because I was already 5 minutes late. I reached the boutique and it was quite boring.

Luke came in after a while and waved at me. Luke is a regular customer that ended up becoming a friend of mine. He often comes to the boutique to buy clothes for himself and some other people.

" Hey char, what's up?"

" I'm chill, how about you?"

" I'm good you know, I was actually wondering if you are up for dinner anytime. Maybe not a dinner, just a night out with me." He said with a smile on his face.

" Sure, maybe next week? I'm kinda busy this week."

" Yeah, no problem. I'll text you?"

" Yeah" I said and took the pile of clothes he was holding.

I scanned the clothes and bagged them before handing it to him. He paid and left and I was back to being bored.

After hours of boredom and stress, I went home. I drove into my garage and got out of my car before locking it.

I got into my house and went straight to my room and laid on my bed. I pulled my phone out of my purse and saw an unread text from Asher.

Asher: hey, we still on for tonight?
             I'm bringing pizza and ice cream.

                      You: yeah sure.
                         Just don't bring strawberry, I
                         hate it and I'm allergic.

I texted back before dropping my phone and heading to the bathroom for a quick shower. I came out in a towel and wore a purple pyjamas short and matching short hand shirt with a pair of black socks.

I rolled my hair into a bun and grabbed my phone before heading downstairs. I went to the kitchen and opened the top cabinet and brought out a pack of caramel popcorn.

I poured it out into a bowl and grabbed two grape sodas and two bottle of waters. I also grabbed a pack of sour cream chips and placed everything neatly on the coffee table.

I sat on the couch and texted Asher to come over before turning on the tv.

                           You: hey, come over rn

Asher: OMW {on my way}

I dropped the phone and decided to make a glass of  tequila. I heard the doorbell ring so I rushed to the door to meet Asher.

I opened the door and saw Gemma, Bianca and her little sister Brittney.

" Shitt" I said using my palm to cover my face.

" What's wrong?" Gemma asked with a rose brow

" Uhh nothing" I replied with a fake smile on my face.

I forgot I promised to watch over Brittney while they go for their date. I stood there completely in shock. I immediately got snapped out by Brittney's tight hug and Gemma's clicky fingers.
