chapter 7: Personal assistant.......

I stood there watching the both of them get along so well.

I put two scoops of ice cream in one bowl for Brittney and four scoops in another bowl for asher and I to share.

I carried the tray of ice cream and pizza to the living room and dropped it on the coffee table. I sat back down beside Asher and he wrapped his arms around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him as Brittney laid on his laps.

We finished having our dinner and we were watching a movie. Asher and I were cuddling on the couch and Brittney was fast asleep on his laps. I looked at Asher whose eyes were glued to the television.

" Did you really mean all those things you said?" I asked and he looked at me.

He cleared his throat and looked back at the television before facing me again.

" All which things?" He asked and I pressed my lips.

" The stuff you said about us being a mini family, did you mean it?" I asked and he adjusted.

" Yeah I did, what's wrong? You don't want to.....? He said and I cut him off.

" No I do, I just wanted to know if you meant it. " I said and I heard him chuckle.

" Char, I might have been lying when I said I was gonna get a dog for Brittney which I may still end up getting, but I meant every single word when I said I wanted to be with you. You're my ride or die baby and I want you in my life. I know we haven't known each other for long but I just know that you're the one for me." He said and I smiled.

He leaned in and pecked my lips then carried Brittney and placed her on the second couch. He covered her with a blanket and came back to sit next to me.

He sat down and I laid on his laps this time. He played with my hair which was really relaxing, making not want to leave this position. A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door.

I got up and walked to the door to see who it was. I opened the door and standing there was gemma and Bianca. They came in and saw Asher sitting on the couch.

Gemma turned to me with a what the fuck look on her face and I just smiled and went closer to her.

" Gem, this is Asher. Asher this is my bestie gemma and her girlfriend Bianca. " I said and he nodded

I saw him stare at Bianca for a while then look at Brittney before I spoke

"Bianca is britts older sister." and he mouthed an oh

Gemma waved and said hello and Asher waved back. Bianca also said hi as she tried to wake britt. She finally woke up and looked confused till she saw Bianca and hugged her.

" Ummm we're gonna go now but thanks a lot char. I really owe you one." Bianca said and hugged me.

Brittney rubbed her eyes and ran to Asher, hugging him tightly.

" Bye mini daddy, I'll miss you." She said in her cute sleepy voice and he gave her a pat on her head.

" I'll miss you too baby girl." He said and she smiled.

She came to me and hugged me, squeezing my legs together.

" Bye mini mommy." She said and I knelt down in front of her.

" Bye mini me." I said and gave her a little peck on her cheek.

Bianca and gemma stood there confused about what just happened. They walked out the front door and shut it yelling bye on the way out.

I breathe out a sigh of relief before walking back to the living room and grabbing the tray of bowls and the empty box of pizza from the coffee table.

I walked to the kitchen and Asher followed me with the almost empty bowl of popcorn. I dropped the bowls in the sink and began eating the popcorn when I turned and saw him staring at me.
