The next few weeks flew by, I got a letter one morning from Kinsy and Steph wishing me happy birthday and saying I had better come visit them down in Iron soon, so that's where I was headed. I told Kakashi and the Fourth and I took off, trying to make a two week trip only one. Arupha, who loved colder weather, came with me speeding me up by forcing some of his chakra into me, making me feel things I never wanted to feel again but I was willing to do anything to get there as quick as I could.
When I arrived I was immediately tackled and knowing who it was I just let my body go loose and fall to the ground to be hugged way too tight by Kinsy. When she finally decided I was real she got off of me and pulled me up, brushing snow off me as she did it. "I've missed ya Allie!! What were ya thinkin takin this long to come visit us!! I mean we getta letter saying your village was destroyed and you were the only survivor! Then to top it off you tell us not to worry! I don't see how you thought we could NOT worry, I mean Allie, you're our unbiological sister, I even like you better than my sister." She just kept babbling on about how close we were, I grinned at the familiar accent, until Steph finally moseyed over, with who had to be Chris.
"Shut up Kinsy, you're buggin' us." She said in the way only Steph could say it and not tick one of us off. I finally got a good look at them, Steph with her unruly, curly, dark brown hair and boring hazel eyes, she was taller than me and she always had been. Kinsy, standing there grinning like someone who'd just discovered a mountain of gold, her light brown hair pulled up in a ponytail making her natural highlights even more noticeable, her dark blue/grayish colored eyes shone with happiness. Then I looked at Chris, catching his every small detail, his hair was blonde and unruly like Stephs, he kept brushing it back out of his face, and when he noticed I was looking at him he grinned, a dimple on his left cheek flashed deep, and his sea green eyes glittered. I couldn't stop myself from smiling back, I kind of cocked my head to the side, his still boyishly round face did the same. I chuckled a bit, and went to Steph and gave her a big hug.
"I'm not sure about this one," Chris spoke up "she seems abit off if you ask me." He said grinning abit.
"How can I not be abit off? If you can stand to be around these two for more than three days, that means your off too." I responded and thunked Kinsy and Steph on the back, earning myself two tongues stuck out at me and a change of subject.
"So Allie, how this Kakashi fella treatin' ya?" Steph asked before Chris could say anything. I guess she could see that was going to turn into a full blown joking argument. "If he's not completely right you can still come down here, I'm tellin' ya it won't bother any of us."
"Hey speak for yourself! I don't want this tiny pest around for to long!" Chris exclaimed and turned his glittering eyes on me to let me know he was just joking around.
"Hey I'm not that short!" I told him, my height was always an issue with me. Since I was born early I've always been shorter than other people the same age as me. "Besides at least I'm not the one hanging out with people two years younger than me!" I shot back and turned my head up.
"I met them first, so it's only natural we became good friends!" He defended himself.
I looked at him for a second and debated how much I liked him, I decided he was decent, for a boy at least. "I can kill him for you if you want." Arupha finally spoke, and made himself known. He realized his mistake a minute later though, Kinsy slowly turned her body and looked at him then a huge grin split her face and she went flying into him, he, like me, just let his body go limp and Kinsy cuddled into him and scratched at his head, then, finally after quite a few minutes of all of us standing there staring at her, she stopped and just lay on top of him with her arms linked around his neck. He stood up with her still laying on his back and grumbled to me "Why is she the only one that seems to think I'm a huge sweetheart?"
