*~*~*

Some people have probably realised I changed the heroines name from Cheyenne to Amber. I'm sorry if there are still some Chey's or Cheyenne's floating around, Later this week I'll go through it again to make sure I got them all. Sorry for any confusion

Hey, So while writing this story I'm to lazy to go back and check to make sure I have all the facts right, like the lands and stuff, So those parts might be different. Don't forget to vote and comment. I enjoy writing these stories but if I don't get more comments than I probably won't upload any more of this one to the site, Of course I'll still write it since it's fun, but really I want some critisism(sp?) anything reallly

*~*~*

We entered the building and stood before the council or something like that, Kakashi was kind of vague about explaining it to me. The Spiky haired guy looked like he had better things he could be doing but he also looked like the nicest one in the room. He spoke first "Well girl, you've really stupefied all of us. How'd you manage to live when we got everyone else?" He asked me looking like he was reading from a script.

"Well, first mister, my name isn't girl, it's Amber and Sangekiko saved me." I said keeping my voice cool and unattached. I blocked out everyone's aura but the spiky hair guy. His was kind of peculiar and hard to read, it seemed like a combination of colors swirling around. I finally managed to detach the strongest emotion, which was curiosity and then a little bit of pink. I glanced around the room this time actually taking in the slightly cracked walls and the tables that were just a part of the floor, it was like they dried the mud to stand like that, but after a quick probe with my chakra it showed the only way this whole room was standing was from some sort of chakra strings that didn't dissappear. It had me wondering but I wasn't going to ask right away.

"Sangekiko? A child of tragedy saved you? Would you explain who or what a Sangekiko is?" Spiky questioned me and flashed a quick grin at me. His aura rapidly changed to one of slight confusion, it's pretty amusing watching him try to figure something out and now that I have his complete attention I guess it'll be ok to tell him the story.

"Sure, Sangekiko was my wolf, someone from this village killed her and she landed on me and I guess the ninja never saw me since he continued on to kill my parents, is that a good explanation?" I was still standing a bit behind Kakashi and he never offered a word of encouragement but he just squeezed my hand once, a silent way of saying I'm here, don't worry. Kakashi pink aura had me distracted from reading Spiky's for a second but I quickly focused on Spiky again. His aura was sort of one for pity.

"Girl, we are talking to you, not Kakashi, get out from behind him. Now!" some guy on the side yelled out. I glared at him and tried hard to bite back a reply but it came out anyways.

"Listen mister," I said keeping my feet planted in the same spot behind Kakashi just to make sure I didn't do what he asked. "I don't take orders from anyone, I might, if I like you enough, look over it everynow and then but I will never ever take orders from anyone, especially not someone like you." I said every word dripping with the disgust I felt at someone who I didn't even know trying to order me around.

I felt a rapid change in Spiky's aura after that though, and after taking half a second to seperate his emotions, found that luckily he liked what I just did. "That settles it!" He said smiling a fool and leaning back in his chair which then toppled over backwards, which was probably one of the funniest things I had ever seen, and a smile, one of the first real one's in awhile, slowly spread across my face and a laugh bubbled out as he stood up red faced and sat back down with a look that clearly said 'I mean't to do that'. "She's staying. I like her spunk." He said and smiled at me even though his ears were still red from tipping over.
