(Warning: Reader falls into water and needs to be fished out, blood, Y/n's wound is reopened but nothing too serious, some blood loss/bruises/broken nose/black eye mentioned, self seppuku mentioned, etc.)

Addiction: Addiction is a term that means a compulsive physiological need for a loved one, to help satisfy the instability of a person's mental state. To cure an addict, the thing or person that the addict is addicted to must be taken away from them or else the effects will worsen.

Intoxication: Intoxication is the term used to describe any change in perception, mood, thinking processes, and motor skills that results from the effect of a loved one on our central nervous system. Frustration, anger, trauma, and the need to express possessiveness, dominance, and   lust can be a direct result of not having their loved one near.

Obsession: Obsession is the term used to describe the addiction of thoughts or feelings pouring into ones mind like an intoxicating drug. The state of being obsessed with someone or something. An idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind. The final stage of Addiction and Intoxication. To have the need to have them in their lives or else they'd never live again.

Fascination: Fascination is the term used to describe a realization of interest in one's own self. The state of feeling an intense interest in something or someone. A branch of Obsession that is less intense than it's counterpart. With guidance and clear speech, the Fascination can be tamed and ultimately gotten rid of.

The difference between Obsession, Addiction, and Intoxication are simple. An addiction will go away eventually and an intoxication will remain within a person forever, but an Obsession is the next stage of want that is the driving force of the needs to have their life whole no matter what obstacle stands in their path. However if the Obsession is in fact just Fascination then it's possible through talk to clear the mind.

And then there was a splash.

You weren't too sure what happened at first. You remembered a woman's angry scream and then turning around to see Sakura lunging at you and then feeling a painful jab in your back and then it happened. Your feet slipped presumably on the wet steps, your back hit the railing, and with the momentum of the shove combined with the slipperiness of the floor made for a perfect mixture to create enough force to pole vault you backwards head over heels over the safety railing and to the ground before with a yell- A yell which ended when a even more terrible sound replaced it.

A splash.

You were expecting a hard solid ground, probably cold too considering the weather. It was still cold, a freezing cold that sent your body frozen in shock for a moment. All at once, freezing cold enveloped you. Not from the hot water but the shock and dread. And there was silence. Numb, peaceful silence. No sounds to be heard. Just zapping cold the further and further you went under the water, looking up and seeing the sun above the moving surface. It was then your brain FINALLY snapped to attention and took noticed of what happened. OH SHI- YOU WERE UNDER WATER!! On instinct your panicked mind made your panicked body kick and thrash your arms and legs wildly. Current of water and bubbles bathed in red made way through the water and you managed to push your head up towards the light breaking the steaming water's surface to garble out a word-
