Chapter 1

Nara's pov

"Nara!! Turn that music down, your dad is trying to watch the news!!"

I barely hear my mum scream from outside my room over the music I was playing so I slowly turn down the volume of my favorite song titled "lovely stars" from my favourite band in the world, Helix.

Helix is a band of 4 members, Sammy, Binnie, Cha and Justin. My favorite member is their leader and lead singer Cha, he's so dreamy....he has blue eyes, 6'5ft, blonde hair, he plays the guitar and he has a deep husky voice and don't even get me started with his Australian accent!! I also like the youngest In the band, Sammy, he's so cute, especially when he's around his band members, he's like a puppy. Sammy is more like the easy going type in the group, he's the shortest 5'7ft and also the drummer in the band. Binnie is the second lead singer, he plays a bass guitar, he's 6'0ft and handsome too and Justin is the rapper, he gives off this hot sexy vampire king vibes, he's 6'0ft as well. All of them are so good looking!! You might think they're not from this planet.

I've always dreamt of attending their concerts or meeting them in person but the problem is, they live in a totally different country as mine and I can't afford their tickets because it's 3times our house rent.

I'm a 22yr old university student in my finals, studying art, living in the united kingdom and my favorite band are all the way in Australia, I've tried my best to get into an exchange program in a university close to my favorite people in the world, but the universe is just preventing me from getting accepted.

I have a little brother, Collins, 20yrs old, who is literally the trouble maker in the family, he's always getting on my nerves by stealing the money I try to save to move to Australia after my graduation, even though it's not nearly enough but I had to increase the locks in my room and all my drawers because the thief in my house is quite sneaky.

Today I'm going over to my friend's place, Mabel and I'm getting ready with a song from helix. Like, who doesn't get ready with music on?? Now my parents are being such joy killers! making me turn down my music. Mabel's my only supporter when it comes to things I like, she's the only one not telling me that I'm delusional, like they say

"Yo!Nar, mum said you should stop disturbing the entire country, just get ready and leave the house already! You're making me leave my room to talk to you. You know I don't do communication with siblings!" I hear my narcissistic brother yell as he bangs my lifeless door.

"Shut up, Collins! I'm leaving already"
I yell back at him as I cross check all I needed for my final art project. I'm currently working on a piece, it's a painting, but the thing is I don't know what to paint yet buttttt I'm taking my art supplies with me to meet my best friend for inspiration. So here I am arranging everything I needed onto my black tote bag which I painted a cartoon version of Helix.

I finally got ready, well...I didn't do much with my face cus I'm not a make up person, I'm more of a lipgloss and lip liner gal! 😉 I packed my hair into a messy bun and lastly, I zip my black boots to complement by blue baggy jeans and grey sweatshirt and wear my headphones, having "poker face by lady Gaga" playing because now my songs on Spotify are on shuffle.

"Hey mum!" I say with a mischievous smile, coming down the stairs.
"The day you'll bring down this house because of the noise you call music, that's the day you'll show us the secret mansion you've built as a backup house for the family" my mum said coldly.
"Ouch mum, you've broken my heart" I replied with my hands on my chest indicating a fake heartache
