The next day, Mizuki woke up with only one thought in her mind : meeting Choso again. She hurried to eat her breakfast, surprising everyone at the table, and then quickly got up. She gathered everything she needed at the swimming pool in her small bag, and put on her swimming suit under her clothes.
When she opened the door to leave, she found herself face to face with Aika, who was staring at her with a mischievous look. "Where are you going like that, Mizu ?" she questionned in a teasing tone. "You finally decided to stay alone and stop bothering me ?". The other rolled her eyes. She slightly pushed her out of her way, but she came back with an even more hesitant pace.
"I stole all the friends you could have, where are you going all alone ?!" she continued in an annoyed voice. Aika truly wanted to be the center of attention, whatever means she had to use. She didn't like seing her cousin happy, and didn't want her to hang out with others at the camping. She knew Mizuki was prettier than her, and, when people get to know her better, she was far more interesting.
"Why would you care ?" the other answered, finally finding the bravery to stand for herself. "I'm going away, I don't have to stay with you ! We're not kids anymore, I can do whatever I want, even if our moms said otherwise. Now, if you'll excuse me, just go and talk to your stupid friends...". She left like that, side-eying the one she couldn't stand anymore. Aika stayed there, boiling inside from this humiliation. She had to figure out a way of winning this competition she started.
Mizuki ran to the swimming pool and got dressed in the appropriate outfit. She stayed for a few seconds under the ice-cold shower, then quickly walked to the swimming pool. It was located outside the main building which hid the showers, and was warmed up by the sun.
She entered the water and let out of a reassured sigh when she noticed it had the right temperature. Her gaze scanned her surroundings until she noticed a familiar silhouette. Choso was in the pool with other men and women. He wore simple purple swim shorts, and really looked beautiful in it. It perfectly embraced his well-built legs. And, there was his chest. If she only had the simplest idea of how much muscles he had. Every move he did showed different muscles of his body at work, and she had to admit the scene was really enjoyable. His hair was let down in the most handsome way possible, with wet strands falling on his face. The least she could say was that her new friend was really hot.
She felt a bit weird, and wouldn't have been able to move if the man didn't spot her first. He swam towards her and through somd water at her face, pulling her from her dreams.
"Hi Mizuki !" he exclaimed in a slightly enthusiastic voice. "I'm glad you came...". The man discreetly eyed her up and down, nearly getting a glimpse at all she could show. He really found her attractive, and it would have been obvious if she wasn't so nervous. Well, that, and she kept staring at his chest.
Choso grabbed her hand an dragged her to his friends, a group a few meters away. Two men seemed closer to him : a tall one with tanned skin and messy strands of hair on top of his head, with piercings around his eyebrows ; and a smaller one with dyed blue hair and a lovely round face. Those were probably his brothers. Another one, a teenager this time, had pink hair and a genuinely kind smile on his lips. "Brother, is she the friend you mentionned ?" he asked in a curious tone. Choso chuckled. "Exactly, Yuji ! Mizuki, here are my younger siblings, Yuji, Eso and Kechizu. They already found friends, and I was thinking of hanging out together, if you're okay with that !".
The woman nodded, and turned towards the rest of the group. "Here's Shoko !" Kechizu started as he pointed towards a brown-haired woman with beautiful eyes. "Then, those are Nobara and Megumi, Yuji's closest friends who insisted on meeting us here." he continued as he showed her a brown-haired girl and a black-haired boy who didn't really seem happy to be here. He stayed so serious while his friend tried to throw water at him to make him react.
"Then there's Satoru and Suguru", Eso explained as he showed a bright white-haired man and a dark-haired other who really felt like the sun and the moon. "They're lovers by the way", he added as Geto's face turned slightly reddish. He wanted to speak too, and walked closer to the group before pointing at a blue-haired man with a weird childish smile. "And here's Mahito, my roommate... We go to the same university. He's really annoying most of the time, but you'll get used to it !" he declared as if it was completely normal.
The group started talking to eachother again, and Mizuki eventually managed, with Choso's help, to understand everything they were talking about. However, it wasn't her first priority. She couldn't get her eyes off her friend's chest, and simply hoped he wouldn't notice. She knew something inside her friendship with him felt different. She was... attracted to him. And, whatever happened, her only need was to keep him close to her, and away from her cousin who would obviously try to steal him from her.
