The next day, the whole friend group headed to the pool as they planned. They spent a moment together, before Mizuki decided to get out a little. She sat a few meters away from the water, and watched as her friends played with a ball Suguru brought. She knew this day was supposed to be as special as the others she spent there, but she didn't want to think about the next one. Leaving Choso, and all the others. That thought had been staying on her mind for a while. She hadn't gotten any sleep, but didn't want to tell her boyfriend about it. Perhaps if she had joined him again she would have felt better. But she knew she couldn't cuddle him to sleep anymore. They would leave the next day. Perhaps he wouldn't even want to hear about her, and simply see her as a holiday lover. She didn't know.
While she was thinking about all those questions in her mind, she heard footsteps coming towards her. A blonde woman in a bikini looking at her with a truly aggressive face. "Are you Choso's girlfriend ?" she asked in a cold tone. Mizuki shivered. Why was she asking her that ? Was he creating ? Of course not, she thought, he was so cute... But perhaps he simply was good at hiding his true life ? "Do you know him ?" she answered with another question. The other rolled her eyes.
"I wish I could say that..." she grumbled. "But I saw him on our first day here, and he immediately stole my attention. I've been trying to get him to like me ever since, just to have your taking him from me so easily...". Mizuki raised her shoulders. "Sorry I guess ? But I love him and I hope you'll find someone !" Yuki clenched her fists. "You're just good at stealing men, right ? You can't realise it ?! He's mine ! Mine and only mine, I saw him first !"
The brown-haired woman didn't quite understand, and they kept arguing for a few seconds. Hearing the noise, Choso left the water and hurried to defend his girlfriend. He stared at Yuki, making her stop talking. "You deserve better !" she finally exclaimed. "Just give me a chance !" The man rolled his eyes. He grabbed his girlfriend and threw her into the pool with him. Then, he giggled a bit.
"How have you managed to find someone so stupid to talk to ?!" he laughed before continuing. "Sweetie, remember when I told you about a weird woman staring at me ? Well that was her." Mizuki chuckled. "I admit she was pretty crazy, people won't even believe me when I tell them... I guess she must be Aika's friend !". "That would make sense ", Choso added as he stared into her eyes, "By the way, did you enjoy these holidays ?" he questionned. She nodded. "The best in my whole life, because I found you..."
Her boyfriend gave her a bright smile before Eso ran towards them and grabbed his shoulders from behind. "Big brother !" he yelled. "Can I ask you something ?". The other nodded. "Can we go eat at that restaurant in Tokyo we like so much, when we come home ?". Choso chuckled. "Already thinking about it ? Alright, if Yuji and Kechizu want to go there too !" he decided. The younger one left, yelling thanks before joining his other siblings.
Mizuki was too stunned to speak, and simply stared at her man. He gave her back the same look, and grabbed her hands. "Hey, are you okay ?" he asked in a worried tone. She didn't bother answering this question. "You live in Tokyo ?" she repeated. Choso raised his shoulders, not knowing why she was asking. "A few minutes away, why ?" he answered in a deep voice she enjoyed so much. "My house's there !" she exclaimed. Choso widened his eyes. Now was his time to freeze, realising how incredible it was.
"Then I'll get to see you ! I can drive to Tokyo, whatever address yours is ! And you can come to my house too !" he translated. Mizuki giggled, and pulled him against her to snuggle against him. "I won't be away from you, that's the best news ever !" she yelled.
Hearing noise, Mahito approached and gave them a weird stare. "What's happening here ? Satoru asked me to bring you back..." he admitted. Choso had the brightest smile he could make. He seemed so cute it almost made Mizuki's heart melt. "We're staying together, even after tomorrow, that's all." he uttered. "And I'm overjoyed to learn that."
