Choso spent the rest of the day comforting Mizuki, and was eventually joined by the rest of the group. When they had to leave, they felt sad and promised to meet at the same place the next day.In the morning, when she got up, she quickly dressed up and ate, like the previous day. Her family watched her with wide eyes, not really knowing where she was going.
She joined the place where they had been staying, and spotted Choso. He was all alone, and soon stared at her with a genuine little smile. "Hi there..." he called. "I came a bit earlier than my brothers, I hope you don't mind !". His friend chuckled. "Have you been waiting for long ?" she questionned in a worried tone. The man rubbed her hair softly. "Don't worry, it doesn't matter..." he promised. Mizuki stared at him. "Since when are you here ?" she repeated. He sighed. "6 am... I wasn't sleeping, I wasn't waiting for you or anything, just trying to get some great time here...".
The woman rolled her eyes. "You look like you've never slept in your life..." she giggled. "It does create an interesting view, though..." she added with a small smirk. Choso chuckled. Did she just compliment him again ? He grabbed her arms and pulled her a little closer, staring at her for a few seconds. "You look good too", he finally declared, bringing a pinkish ting to her cheeks which he obviously noticed. "Well... Apparently I won ! Now, I've been thinking, during this boring night... Perhaps we could head to the beach for a while."
Mizuki widened her eyes. She had loved this place since she was a little girl, but now that she was a grown up in university, she barely had time for such moments. Her eyes sparkled, giving him the answer he was hoping for.
He softly grabbed her hand and walked with her towards the camping's exit. The sera was just a few streets away, they could walk there quick enough.
Mizuki felt her heart pouding in her chest. Choso's touch was so soft she barely had any words left. They eventually arrived at the place they wanted to go, and her friend let go of her fingers. He took off his shirt, making her eyes widen, then his shorts. She would've collapsed if she didn't notice his swim shorts soon enough. He stared at her for a few seconds, and smiled.
"Have you brought anything to swim ?" he asked, pulling her out of her thoughts. She nodded. Thankfully, she still thought they were going to head to the swimming pool. She took off the unuseful clothes and put them in her bag.
She noticed Choso staring for a few seconds, making her slightly embarrassed and proud at the same time. If he liked how she looked, she definitely had to take that as a good sign.
She had thought about her feelings for the man for a while, and it now became evident she had a crush on him.
He grabbed her fingers again, and ran towards the sea, throwing her into the waves as soon as he could. Mizuki jumped, not thinking he would've done that, and grabbed him to throw him into the water with her. Choso fell into her trap, and into the water at the same time. Not wanting to lose, he dragged her even further in the sea, even though he still paid attention to the water level, not to drown her.
Mizuki eventually grabbed him closer, tying her arms and legs around him to be sure he wouldn't leave her there. The man chuckled, and brought her a bit closer, wrapping his arms around her so she would feel safe.
"Do you feel good here ?" he questionned in a soft tone. The woman nodded. She hadn't noticed the wide smile on her lips until she saw he was staring at it. "You look cute when you're amused", he finally declared.
Mizuki blushed a bit. "Thanks, I guess..." she answered, trying to stay confident enough to talk to him. "Let's walk a bit, okay ?" he proposed. The woman nodded, and he started stepping away, still carefully holding her against him.
She had the greatast place she could dream of to stare at him. His deep eyes, but still careful and adorable. His little smile whenever he felt happy around her. His hair, he had decided to leave down again, sending chills through her spine. And finally, his well-built body, his abs, his chest, the arms she could feel around her. It was the best way to spend her holiday.
They walked for a while, then lay down in the sand to rest. The sun warmed up their skin, and Choso let out a sigh. She could see he was a bit exhausted, because of his lack of sleep. But he was still there, taking care of her to make sure she was spending the best holiday they could dream of.
He bought a kite, and spent a moment with her learning how to use it. She already had much experience, and told him about her previous holidays here. He always listened to her, and, for the first time, she felt like someone her age was actually interested by what she said.
At the end of the day, they bought something to eat and stared at the stars in the wonderful sky. They stayed on the sand, next to eachother, their fingers nearly touching. She would've wanted intertwine them, but she knew it would be too soon.
After a moment, they got up and walked to the camping. They stopped near Mizuki's bungalow, and waited for a few seconds. None of them wanted to leave the other.
"I spent a great day with you..." he whispered. The woman nodded. "Me too... Thanks, Choso. I hope you weren't missing your brothers and other friends too much...". The man raised his shoulders. "I sincerely wanted to be with you, and I guess Eso noticed it from the look he gave me yesterday evening....
Mizuki slightly widened her eyes. Had he betrayed her feelings ? "Can I come here to meet you tomorrow ?" he questionned in a sad tone. The woman slightly caressed his cheeks to comfort him. "You can come whenever you want Choso... Moments with you are incredible."
The man smiled. "10 am, is it okay for you ? I want you to sleep, unlike me", he chuckled. Mizuki nodded. "That's great !" she answered in a soft tone.
Choso pulled her against him, knowing it was time to say goodbye for today. He gave her a warm hug, but something in it felt suite wrong. He knew it wasn't the same as what he could do to friends or family. He wouldn't mind hugs, it just didn't feel the same. He was so attracted to it he refused to let go for a whole minute.
Then, he stared into her eyes, and noticed the same sparkle he felt in his heart when he was by her side. His eyes fell on her lips, and he sighed.
He slowly moved a bit closer, giving her the time to move away if she wanted. Her heart was pounding, and these few seconds felt like forever.
Eventually, their lips met, and she pulled him against her to enjoy this kiss she was craving for. He wrapped his arms around her for a while, then moved away, letting her catch her breath.
"I love you..." he finally whispered before running away, yelling : "See you tomorrow !" Mizuki felt unable to move for a few seconds, and, without even realising it, her hand went straight to her lips, as if she was trying to catch the kiss he gave her to keep it there. She finally got back go her bungalow, still feeling a bit dizzy from what happened.
