'Quick quick slow, quick quick slow' Princess Kanako guided as Haruhi flailed across the ballroom

'Are you sure I have to do this?' I asked Tamaki as he pushed me towards Kyoya in attempts to make me a better dancer 'Im not even gonna dance at this party so why do I need to learn to waltz anyway?'

'Au contraire' Kyoya contradicted whilst placing our hands together in a waltzing position 'As a new member of this host club, some boys may ask to dance with you. You wouldn't want to disappoint them by being the awful dancer you currently are, do you?'

'Ok first of all rude and secondly I didn't even agree to join your club and I certainly didn't agree to being a HOST! Ive never flirted before in my life and in case you forgot, I'm engaged to an idiot' I protested as the waltz began

'Wait what will I be doing in the club anyway? All im good at is eating and writing' I asked remembering my sudden lack of talents, or basic skills.

'You can help me with the budget or just talk to the guests while they're waiting for the hosts to switch.' He replied, monotone as always

The dancing continued for around 10 minutes, with many feet being stepped on - most of them acicdental - and glares from Kyoya because of it, but after a while I decided that I was good enough considering I dont think that any boys are actually going to want to dance with me, and went to sit by Hikaru and Kaoru and talked to them a bit before some guy came in holding boxes

'Hello?' He asked 'Im here with the new teacups you ordered'

'Ah, thank you very much. Every item you've chosen for us so far has proven to be quite popular with the ladies. Im quite impressed.' "Mommy" replied

'Ah well that's good to hear' The same guy answered, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head

'So do you sell tea sets?' Haruhi piped up as I walked alongside her

'That's cool! Hey, do you have any teacups with dinosaurs on them?' I asked

'Uh no....? Im just a regular student. Cant you tell by the uniform?' He said

'Too bad' I sighed as I walked back on over to the twins, teacupless... but over at the other side of the ballroom there was a lot of tea (please excuse my pun)

'Oh haha Haruhi you're so funny. I cant blame you for not knowing, after all he doesn't look like the heir to a first-class company' Princess Kanako laughed. Rude.

'First class company?' Haruhi asked

'His familys business, the Suzushima trading company, deals primarily in the importing of tableware. They currently have the top market share in the country' Kyoya said, stoic as ever

after a bit of back and forth of tableware conversation between them, they boy finally left, leaving a flushed Kanako

'No haha what are you talking about we hardly know each other, what makes you say that, Haruhi? Anyways if you'll excuse me.. take care' She nervously laughed before sprinting out of the ballroom

'Haru-chan! Guess what? They do know eachother! Suzushima is Kanakos fiancé!' Honey bounced

'Kyoya how long have you known about this?!' me and Tamaki asked as I tried to look over his shoulder to read his notebook once again, and once again, failing.

'About the two of them being engaged?' He asked

'No about the flying emus that are currently circling Ouran. Quick! Run! Hide! Save your families! I bet they can smell fear....' I answered sarcastically

'Well as you know I conduct general searches on all of our customers. The two of them were childhood friends, it seems as their engagement was set up by their parents, exactly like me and Amaya's engagement was, but I didn't think the information would benefit us so I disregarded it. Toru Suzushima, fair social status. Hes ordinary looking, but reliable.. if I had to fault him for anything'

'He doesn't have much presence'

'And he's faint hearted'

'So in other words: He's boring' they concluded

'Wow I had no idea you were so merciless towards other guys' Haruhi said

'Same here, that was pretty mean guys' I added giving them a small slap on the wrist

'Susushima is a good boy right?' Honey piped up

'Yeah.' Mori replied

'Alright men... and Haruhi and Amaya' Tamaki shouted 'Its time to work on our strategy'

'Which one?' we all asked

'It is our responsibility as members of the Ouran Host Club to make every girl happy!' He replied like it was obvious
