Chapter 8: Birthrights and Truthsed

Diana and Sharena meet up with Alfonse, AuraMage, Anna, Bacchus Kiran and Margie at the World of Birthright. They are face to face with a man with brown hair, a woman with red hair, a young man with silver hair and a girl with pink hair.

"I am Ryoma. High Prince of Hoshido." The man, Ryoma said, holding onto the hilt of his sword.

"Prince Ryoma of Hoshido." Alfonse said calmly. "We are here to warn you that your kingdom is being controlled by an other world magic and-"

"What's that, you say?" Ryoma glares at the Order of Heroes. "My realm is being controlled by forces of another world? Preposterous! The Kingdom of Hoshido is protected from invasions by the power of our queen. I am not sure how you got into Hoshido, but my family and I will make sure that you and your friends leave!"

"Well, talking didn't work." Kiran said. "Everyone! Get into battle!"

The battle began as Ryoma and the red haired woman, Hinoka, charged towards the order. Anna fought against Ryoma while Bacchus fired arrows at Hinoka.

"Sakura, don't get too close to the enemy." The young man, Takumi, looked at the pink haired girl, Sakura. "We need you for your healing."

"Big Brother, I c-can f-fight... with the s-staff Mother gave me... I can heal as well..." Sakura stuttered.

Takumi sighed, feeling conflicted since he swore to keep his little sister safe.

"Alright, but I got your back." He nodded.

Before Sakura could say anything, AuraMage fired a Shine spell directed towards the two of them.

"Tell me where you saw a boy with white hair." AuraMage said.

While Diana was interviewing the Virtual Singers about the current situation regarding Miku and Minus... or Yongye, Piko had vanished. The brown haired mage believed he disappeared to the world of Birthright.

"Wait... a missing child?" Takumi scowled. Even though he is bound by contract, he does not tolerate his enemies having a missing person. "And you say he ended up in Hoshido? Alright, I'll help you find him. The truth is... I don't like this whole situation Ryoma is in right now."

"The... contract?" AuraMage closed her spellbook.

"Yes." Takumi said. "Sakura, can you have your retainers find the missing child?"

"O-Of course." Sakura nods and runs off.

"Strange..." Heroes AuraMage said. "The way you are acting right now... you suspect something is wrong."

"That's correct." Takumi nods. "The Emblian Princess isn't working alone on this one. There is someone... called 'Infinity'? That name feels like it has a God Complex."

AuraMage remains quiet, for she knows Veronica must have sent Zero, or Infinity, after Piko.

"I'll explain along the way." She spoke up. "Let's go."

Meanwhile, Ryoma has been defeated by Sharena assisting Anna.

"My friends, I underestimated the power of these strangers." The High Prince said. "We must retreat and regroup, for the sake of our people, we cannot let Hoshido fall into the hands of these invaders."

The Hoshidan Army retreated.

"It seems this contract is making them believe we're the villains." Kiran said. "Just like all the worlds we saved."

"And not only that, each contracted world has a leader..." Anna said. "Marth for the World of Mystery, Chrom for the World of Awakening, Xander for the World of Conquest and now Ryoma for the World of Birthright."

"We'll have to be careful, everyone." Alfonse said.

"Alfonse, I got a message from Aura." Margie said. "It seems she is investigating the disappearance of one of our allies."

"A disappearance?!" Sharena gasped. "Who disappeared?!"

"I may mess up the name and I apologize." The blond and pink haired knight said. "It seems his name is Peeko..."

"Piko is missing?!" Diana gasped. Piko is the only one aside from Miku who she didn't interview.
