Five months later..,
Five months had passed since Andrew and Lexi broke the news to their friends and fans. In that time, the initial shock had settled, and the couple had grown closer, navigating the ups and downs of pregnancy together. Their friends had rallied around them, offering support, advice, and the occasional laugh when things got overwhelming.
Now, it was time for the gender reveal. Andrew and Lexi wanted to make it special, so they decided to throw a huge party with all their friends and family present. They rented a large venue with an outdoor garden, decorated with balloons, flowers, and a massive banner that read
GIRL OR BOY?Andrew stood at the center of the crowd, his usual confident grin plastered on his face, but underneath it, he was nervous. His hands were a little shaky as he held Lexi's, who was glowing with excitement. Her baby bump was visible now, and she had a radiance about her that made Andrew's heart swell with pride and love.
As they stood together, waiting for the countdown, Andrew suddenly crouched down in front of Lexi, placing his hands gently on her belly. He leaned in close, his voice soft and tender. "Hey, little one, it's your dad. I just want you to know that no matter what, you're going to be my little prince or princess. I can't wait to meet you and spoil you like crazy."
Lexi watched him, her heart melting at the sight. She couldn't help but laugh softly. "What about me? Am I still your princess, too?"
Andrew looked up at her with that mischievous grin she loved, then stood and, without warning, scooped her up into his arms and spun her around. Lexi let out a delighted squeal, her arms wrapping around his neck as she laughed, feeling the world blur around her.
"You'll always be my number one princess," Andrew said as he set her down gently, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "But now we're adding another little prince or princess to our royal family."
Lexi's heart fluttered, warmth spreading through her chest. She had always found Andrew incredibly hot—his confidence, his strength, his charm—but moments like this, when he was sweet and playful, made him utterly irresistible. He was still the Andrew she fell in love with, but seeing him so excited about becoming a father made him even more adorable in her eyes.
"What do you think you want? Lexi questioned him. "I would love a mini-Andrew running around!"
"I'll be happy either way, but I think I'm hoping for a little girl!" He grinned and bent to kiss her belly "I'll love you either way though..." He whispered.
"Alright, let's do this!" Andrew announced, his grin wide as he straightened up and held Lexi's hand, their moment of intimacy giving him the confidence to face the crowd again. "On the count of three, we'll pop these balloons, and we'll finally know if it's a boy or girl!"
The crowd began counting down together, the anticipation building.
1!
2!
3!!!!!
Andrew and Lexi simultaneously popped the large black balloons in front of them, releasing a cascade of pink confetti that rained down over them. The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, everyone's excitement spilling over as they realized the couple was having a girl.
"YESSS!" Andrew screamed, picking Lexi up and spinning her around.
Lexi laughed, tears of joy streaming down her face as she looked at Andrew. But before they could fully process the moment, the doctor who had arranged the reveal stepped forward, holding up two fingers with a huge smile.
"Wait, there's more!" she announced, and the crowd fell silent, confused but intrigued.
Andrew and Lexi exchanged bewildered looks as the doctor handed them another smaller balloon. "You're having twins! Let's see what the second baby is!"
The room buzzed with excitement and disbelief as Andrew and Lexi stared at the balloon in shock. Andrew blinked a few times, trying to wrap his head around the idea of having two babies instead of one. Lexi's mouth fell open as she realized what was happening.
"Twins?" Andrew muttered, half to himself, as he looked at Lexi in amazement. She nodded, her eyes wide with excitement and disbelief.
Without wasting any more time, they popped the second balloon, and another shower of pink confetti burst into the air. The crowd went wild, realizing that Andrew and Lexi weren't just having one baby girl—they were having twin girls.
Lexi was crying tears of joy now, laughing through the shock as she hugged Andrew tightly. "Two girls, Andrew! We're having two girls!"
Andrew was speechless for a moment, his emotions overwhelming him. He pulled Lexi close, kissing her forehead as the reality sank in. Then, with a playful grin, he crouched down again, placing his hands on Lexi's belly. "Hear that, princesses? You're not just coming into this world alone—you've got each other, and you've got me, your dad, who's going to love you more than anything."
Lexi watched him with a full heart, feeling the love he already had for their daughters. She placed her hands on top of his, the connection between them stronger than ever. "And don't forget, you've got me, too," she added softly.
"Oh yeah, and you have your very brave mommy who will take care of you."
Andrew stood up and, with that same excitement and love, picked her up and spun her around again, making Lexi laugh with pure joy. She was right—Andrew was always irresistible , but seeing him like this, so full of love and excitement, made him absolutely adorable.
As the celebration continued around them, Andrew and Lexi took a moment to themselves, sitting on a bench in the garden, still trying to process the news. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the party as they held hands, the sounds of their friends and family laughing and celebrating around them.
"What do you think we should name them?" Lexi asked softly, resting her head on Andrew's shoulder.
Andrew thought for a moment, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "I've always liked the name Aaliyah. It's beautiful, just like you."
Lexi smiled, nodding in agreement. "Aaliyah Belle... it's perfect. And for the second one?"
Andrew turned to look at Lexi, his eyes full of love. "What about Teghan Brooke? (TEE-gan, i love that name) It's strong and unique, just like our little girls are going to be."
Lexi's heart swelled as she repeated the names in her head. "Aaliyah Belle and Teghan Brooke Davila. I love it, Andrew."
