The turtles were hopping around on rooftops.

It had been about three weeks since they had met the humans Casey and Alexander, but they didn't know the exact amount of days because Donnie was usually the one to keep track of days and all that stuff but he had been unusually quiet and more fiddly with his tech. Leo had tried to ask what was up, but Donnie snapped at Leo as if Leo were a big inconvenience in his day. Mikey had been told what was up. But Mikey wouldn't tell. Littlest brothers secret. Mikey would keep the littlest brothers secrets hidden until beyond the grave.

"So, we're meeting up with Casey and Alex today, right?" Mikey asked one of his brothers (though the question wasn't really directed towards anyone in particular).

Donnie fiddled with his glasses in his hand, saying "Uh-huh. Yup. Correct, big bro." in response.

"Cool, cool cool." Mikey shrugged, turning a cartwheel and trying to keep up with his brothers. "Donnie, what's 756,400,999 plus... 30,432?"

"Easy math, don't try to fool me. 456,431,431." Donnie looked up and smiled a bit, calming down considerably.

Raph and Leo didn't understand how Mikey got Donnie to calm down so... easily. Mikey knew. Mikey knew because he paid attention. His brothers usually didn't.

Donnie sighed, putting his glasses back on and walking a bit less hunched. Definetely more happy.

"Well, this is where they said to meet up. And Alexander said he needed help with his homework. You got that, Don?" Raph turned towards Donnie.

Donnie did a mini salute with a finger gun, clicking his tongue. He fell backwards, falling off the building and landing right in the park where the humans and the turtles were to meet up.

His brothers followed.

In the park, there was the regular playground surrounded by field. Simple. Where the park was, nobody knew. It was gone a few weeks, then back. But it was always there, people just couldn't see it sometimes. The field was full of Autumn leaves piled up around nearly-bare trees. It had a smell of cinnamon in the air. It was a bit cold, not cold enough to notice unless it was breezy. And benches were placed randomly about, facing different directions and different ways away from each other. It was cozy this time of year in the park.

Two figures, the size of fourteen year olds if that makes sense, were sitting at the bench that the turtles and the humans were to meet up at.

"Hey, Casey, Alex!" Mikey yelled to the figures with a hand in the air, waving.

Casey yelled from the bench that was a ways away, sitting at the bench "Yo!"

They all walked up to the bench, sitting down and chit-chatting for a bit.

"K. Donnie, can you help with my homework?" Alexander was nearly able to say, before an eager

"Yup!" from Donnie. Or, it was about as eager as Donnie could sound. In which case, it didn't sound very eager at all.

So, Raph and Leo wandered off somewhere and Casey and Mikey wandered off somewhere until the two would be done with that horrid homework.

It was about an hour that passed before Alex got up, dusted off his hands, and said "That's all for tonight, I s'pose."

"Good. I'm starved. What do humans eat up here, anyway?" Donnie asked, getting up and starting to fiddle with his glasses again, this time with a tiny screwdriver and some of his old scrap metal.

Casey, seeing the turtle and Alexander get up, shot up, ran like a bullet towards them, and said "C'mon! Let's get PIIIIZZZZAAAAAAA!!!" She dragged Donnie over to his brothers, who had sat a bench and were talking a bit.
