Cassidy and I met Colton at a restaurant. When we sat down the waitress asked us what we would like to drink. Hmmm. What sounded good. "Oh, I'll have a cream soda." I said.

"I'll take a Cherry Coke." Cassidy added.

"Give me a chocolate milk." Colton told the waitress excitedly.

"Really Colton, chocolate milk." Cassidy said sarcastically.

"What. A guy like me needs his dairy too."

As they had their conversation, I looked at the menu and decided what I wanted to order. When the waitress came I told her I wanted a shrimp scampi. Colton and Cassidy and ordered their appetizers and meals.

Cassidy got soup and salad for her appetizer. She convinced Colton to try caviar. Colton had no idea it was actually fish eggs.

"Colton, this is Arabell." Cassidy said trying to break the silence.

"Hi." I replied nervously. Colton reached his hand out to me and MAN HUGGED ACROSS THE TABLE! I mean DUDE, were in a restaurant. Talk about personal space invasion. I'm not really liking this guy to much.

I sat there awkwardly until our food came.

Finally, after what felt like forever, our appetizers came. Colton asked the waitress what caviar is. "Caviar is the pickled roe of sturgeon or other large fish, eaten as a delicacy."

"What?!"

"Can you put in first grade vocabulary. He's not the brightest crayon in the box." Cassidy joked.

"They're baby fish eggs."

Colton immediately gets ups, screams, and runs to the men's room while knocking over a ninety year old man on the way. We got a few stares. And by a few, I mean the whole restaurant.

When our meals came, Colton finally joined us again. My shrimp was soaked in butter and seasoned with red pepper flakes and parsley. Cassidy got bacon macaroni and cheese. And Colton, to no surprise, got chocolate chip smiley face pancakes off the kids menu.

"These pancakes really hit the spot!" Colton exclaimed with a mouth full of pancakes.

"Shut and eat or I'll come hit your spot." Cassidy warned him.

Colton shrugged down in his seat whimpering in fear. "Oh, suck it up cupcake." Cassidy teased.

I enjoyed my meal in silence while those two argued. When we finished, the waitress came and asked us if we wanted dessert. "Do I ever!" Colton exclaimed. "I will have a chocolate ice cream cone. The biggest one you've got!"

"Okaaaaaaaaay." The waitress was surprised by his child like actions and choice of food.

I ordered a slice of cheesecake and Cassidy got a chocolate fondue pot. When I finished my cheesecake, Cassidy shared her fondue with me.

Cassidy told Colton good bye and we left. I tried to leave as quickly as possible so people wouldn't see that I was with them. Right when we were leaving Colton asked the waitress at the front desk, "Hey, can I have some of these spicy breath mints?" While shaking his shoulders and shimmying.

Then, we left. Cassidy and I went back to her house. And Colton went to his. "Colton, where do you live?" I asked him.

"I live with my mommy in a house by the supermarket." Colton replied proudly.

As we were were walking home Cassidy told me a little more about Colton. "Colton is 22 and still lives with his mom. He goes to the community college for banking. Yep, he's one of a kind."
