The next day as I was walking to work, something grabbed me. No, someone grabbed me. They whispered in my ear, "Be quiet and follow me." It was a woman's voice. One which I did not recognize. They pulled me far out of town close to the place where I fell from the sky.

"Why. Why did you leave the clouds and come down here? It was a stupid mistake you will never be able to get back." She told me.

"Who are you? And why did you bring me here?"

"I am Bernadette, the previous Guardian of Boston. And I brought you here because - I don't know. I guess I just feel bad for abandoning my city. And now some other Guardian is watching over Boston and Mother is probably looking down at me and thinking why I made this stupid decision"

"Oh. Well, can you take me back to Boston?"

"Really? I bring you out here and talk to you for thirty seconds and now you want to go back."

"I thought you were done."

"Fine, you can go. But I'm going to stay here." Bernadette replied in a snotty voice.

I made my way back to the city and decided that I wanted to take a day off of work today to think about everything I had just heard. I called Mary and made up a story, then went home to Cassidy's house. I lay in my bead and burst into tears. "Mother, why is this happening to me?" Then, I heard thunder and the rain came. "Mother, do I still control Boston?"

I heard Mother's voice, "Arabell, I decided to let you stay the Guardian of Boston because you were the best one I've ever had.  Always remember that I am here and I love you." Then, her voice left me in silence.

I knew that I had to stop crying and try to forget about what Bernadette said to me. I decided to go outside and take a walk. The sun came out and the rain stopped. As I walked I kept thinking: I am lost. I don't know why I came to Boston. I don't know anything about it. Why did I do it?
