I am Arabella and I am a Guardian. This means that I control my city with my emotions; if I am sad it will be gloomy, if I am happy it will be bright and sunny.

We live up in the clouds, and by we I mean me, all my sisters, and our mother; Mother Nature. Mother Nature thought us everything we needed to know about our city; what food is, shopping, stores, children, elderly, men, and so many other things. We do not eat because we do not feel hunger, or have houses, or different sets of clothing. We have only our white dress that flows straight down to our feet, a gold belt, gold accessories, and we do not wear shoes. We also never age. Mother just created here and we were never young and we never grow a day older. I have never seen myself, (except for the brown hair that hangs past my shoulders). No has seen themselves.

All of us have our own cities that we watch over, but we never share anything about our cities. The only city each of us know is our own. We all have areas in the clouds where we guard our cities. We each have our own swing that hangs from the clouds. We sit on our swing and watch over our city. You can see as close up or far away as you want. No one else is able to access or see our city except Mother Nature.

My city is Boston. Boston has many buildings. There are malls, and I have even watched people go on boats that look like swans. There is even an ocean where people of all ages go and play in the sand, swim, surf, make sandcastles, and just lay in the sun. I wish I could do things in the clouds.

I wish I new what the other Guardians did while they were watching over their cities. Do they do the same things i do. First, I observe Boston as a whole. Then, I go the city, the ocean, and the river. Last, as look at the individuals; how there lives are and if they are struggling or if they are happy. If see someone who is sad, I make them happy. If a child all by them self, I find them a friend.

It isn't that difficult being a Guardian, but it definitely takes some practice. I have always wondered how Mother picks a Guardian and how she assigns them to a city. Do we come a city and Mother just picks us? Or is she really our mother?

I wish I knew more about the world, but Mother says we know all we need to. Do the people in Boston feel hunger, or do they just eat? Why do they have so many pairs of clothes and what's the point of shopping? Are the children's minds as developed as the elderly?
