I grabbed the dog food and I poured it into his bowl. I made sure to give him fresh water. I was getting lonely, so I got a dog. A puppy to be exact. I got a staffy bulldog and he was so adorable. I couldn't help myself when I saw him.

I have been shopping for all dog stuff in the last few days to get him everything he needed. He's been running around the house adjusting to the place, but I have made sure to leave the back door open for him, so he can go outside and eat.

I need to start puppy training him and I can't wait to make him do tricks. I shifted his bowls to the side and I began packing away all the dog stuff.

I don't know how Chris is going to react to me getting a dog. I mean it shouldn't matter, he's been so busy the last few months that I just needed something to occupy while he's away.

He was coming back today, so I nervous to see his reaction. I knew he was on his way home, so in a way of trying softening him up. I had gone to his favorite Albanian bakery and gotten him his favorite food.

I heard the door opening and I headed towards the door. He opened the door and I smiled at seeing him. He eased his suitcase inside the house.

"Hey Zemër, how was your trip?"

"Boring, I missed you so much," he says.

He shut the door behind him and he came over to me. He put his arm around my waist and hugged me. I kiss his cheek and I noticed his beard had grown out. I touched his face and touched his face.

"I see you have grown out your beard," I tease.

"I have, do you like it? I can shave it off you don't," he says.

He leaned in kissing me on the lips. I gently shook my head as I liked the new look alike. I heard the soft padding of Kash's paws and tiny barks.

"Why is there a puppy here?"

He let go of me and Kash circled our feet. He was jumping on Christopher and leaned down to pick him up. He held him in his arms and he looked down at him, then at me.

"I got him last week...I got you Byrek and Tullumba, Tonight for dinner I asked your mom to send me-."

"Are you trying to bribe me into keeping him?" He asked, laughing.

I pouted and I looked up at him. Kash wiggled in his arms and he placed him down on the ground. I continued to pout and I held onto his arm leading him to the kitchen, so he can eat.

"Please can we keep him, I get so lonely when you're away on business trips," I plead.

"T'keqen, of course we can keep him. I'm sorry I have been away so much, I promise that was my last trip for the next few months," he said.

"It's fine, I get it, you're working."

I picked up his pastry and handed it to him. Kash sat down and he looked up at us. Christopher took a piece of his Breyk to give to him, but I stopped him.

"He's a baby, he can't eat. Look at your daddy already trying to poison you," I scowled.

I picked up Kash and I held him in my arms rocking him. Chris watched us and Kash tried to lick my face, but I didn't let him. I just snuggled his nose against mine.
