Alex was now standing in Nathan's attic once more, while he was bringing out a large tube from the desk. Then he unscrewed the top and slowly brought out the contents. He was watching her standing there, looking like a little lost sheep, instantly knowing that something was bothering her. When they had exchanged pleasantries, he could feel the tension rolling off her. As they had walked upstairs, she asked where his wife was, telling her that she was at work.

"So, Sulley managed to get this from someone, who actually thought it was nothing" He uncurled the map, placing weights on the ends.

She looked down at it, wondering what she was looking at, as he took the other pieces of paper from inside, and spread them around on the top.
Alex was looking at them, but at the same time, not seeing them properly.

"He didn't know what he was looking at to begin with, until he brought it to me. Then he came across this"

Nathan turned over a piece of paper that had been with it. There was fancy writing on the centre, and a doodle in the corner.
Whoever shall seek this fortune, shall hole the fate of the universe in their hands. Hold it was caution.

Alex looked at the doodle again, having heard those words before, realising it wasn't a doodle, it was a triangle, and it had an eye inside the centre.

"No way" She breathed, quickly pulling the piece of paper towards her for a proper look.

Nathan stood up straight, looking smug.

"The all-seeing eye. Nate, this is the Eye of Eternity" She quickly said.

"Yeah, I thought the same thing" He replied.

"But we agreed, it didn't exist, it was just myth" Looking up to his eyes, now excited, and all worrying thoughts about herself and Bucky gone from her mind.

He smiled to her, she was the only person who shortened his name. She was the only one he would allow to do it, like he did with hers.

"Haven't we agreed by now, that myth is just someone's exaggerated truth" He recalled.

This made her roll her eyes, as this was something she often said to him.

Alex pulled the other pieces of papers to er, someone had clearly been working on finding the Eye themselves, working on clues, and area, but got nowhere. She pushed the papers aside, and looked down at the map, seeing there was something written there, something small.

"Nate, is that a water mark?" She quickly asked, looking around for a light.

He pulled the map up, holding it to the light. Seeing it flicker through it, but saw what she saw.

With no hesitation, he quickly headed downstairs, and grabbed some lemons, and cotton swabs, while Alex turned the map over to the back, putting the smaller pieces of paper onto a chair, as he came back up, with the items they needed.

"There should be a key in the corner" He started, as she quickly done what was needed.

Alex took a deep breath, then gently swiped the corner with the lemon juice, and then blew on it, moments later, there was a faint mark on the paper.

She smiled at him, and done more, this time adding more heat.

There in the corner of the old map, was a symbol Alex never thought she would find.

"Is that what I think it is?" Nathan asked, confused.

"The symbol for Atlantis" She breathed, standing up, a smile playing on her lips.

They looked at each other, in shock.

"This means your theory was right Ally. That the Eye of Eternity was originally located in Atlantis, they would have used it, and kept it safe. You realise what this means, right?" He questioned.
