Until we meet again

We lay in bed, I come closer to sleep on his chest.
His heart is beating so fast, at first I find it cute but then I notice that it isn't slowing down, making it hard to fall asleep.

I move to my side of the bed, caressing his arm. I ask softly. "Are you nervous or something?"
He stares at the ceiling and puts his hand on his chest, trying to calm down his heart. "I'm scared." He admits.
"Scared? And of what?" I ask, confused.
He looks back at me. "Do you think it's okay if I have a girlfriend?"
I pause, trying to understand what he means.
"I mean... as an idol."
"Do you fear to get into a dating scandal?"
He avoids my eyes. "I fear it a little..."

I hold his hand. "Don't worry, I would be scared too. But here, nobody will know so nothing can happen."
He shakes his head. "Yes but... you know that I want to be with you in every universe right?" He holds my hand tighter. "But there's a world where I could ruin my career for this."
His breath gets heavier. I hug him. "I know... we don't have to date there too, if it makes it better. I just want to meet you again even if you won't be my boyfriend anymore."
"But I want to be with you there too..." he brings his hands to his face.

It makes me sad to see him like this, not knowing how to comfort him. "Then we'll be a couple there too, okay? We just need to keep it secret and-"
"You know how much I care about Villains, they trust me a lot. Not telling them this big secret... I can't do that to them."
"But are there any other options?"
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have talked about this." He invites me to lay closer to him.
"It's okay, I just want you to be happy okay?"
He lets out a deep breath. "I'll try."

I wake up, stretching my arms a bit.
I look at my right side. "Huh? Seungmin is already up."
I check my phone and see that it's 10 AM.
When they don't have a schedule, the Heroes usually wake up around this hour so I get up to have breakfast with them.

"Good morning!"
Jungsu turns around. "Oh hi! You woke up earlier that usual!"
"Yep, maybe I wasn't very tired yesterday night."
He brings me my breakfast and we sit down together. "By the way, why did Seungmin go to work earlier today? Does he have a schedule?"
Gaon giggles. "Why do you want to know? Are you a skz fan?"
I chuckle. "Ha ha ha, so funny. Can you answer now?"
"Moon, we're not so close with him to know every single schedule." Jooyeon adds.
I punch him lightly on his arm. "Come ooon! You know that I'm talking about my Sumi!"
Junhan taps my shoulder. "Who?"
"Is this a group prank or something? Where is Seungmin, my boyfriend, your bandmate?"
They look at each other with a confused gaze.
"Okay, okay, whatever. I'll call him." I sigh, searching for his number.
"Where the heck..."

My heart drops as I realize that his chat disappeared.
"Hyeongjun, please stop joking... do you know Oh Seungmin right?"
"I can't remember names, is he an idol?"
"DON'T JOKE! PLEASE I'M SERIOUS!" I yell, losing my temper.
"Calm down okay? Tell me what's the matter." Jungsu softly says, placing his hands on my cheeks.
I take a breath. "Whose room did I sleep in?"
"In your room." He affirms.
"No! The one next to yours!"
"I know, as I said it's your room!"

I get out with tears in my eyes, running to the company. I see someone at the welcome desk. "Good morning. I'm a friend of Oh Seungmin, where is he now?"
The woman looks at me, confused. "There's no one with that name here, I'm sorry."
I somehow manage to thank her, then sit on a sofa nearby, feeling like I could faint.

"I can't believe it. He came back? Permanently?"

My tears flow uncontrollably, sobbing hard.
"Moon! What happened!"
I look up as I hear Jungsu's voice, running to me followed by the other members.
I can't say a single word, so I take Junhan's wrist and take him nearby.
"Hyeongjun... Seungmin came back! You don't remember him anymore!"
