The path of destiny

The next day is a Sunday so the Heroes don't have a new concert. But on Monday they have to travel to another country again.

"What should we do..." Seungmin murmurs, looking at the ceiling after waking up next to me.
I hug his waist tightly. "We'll be okay, we got our numbers so we just have to be careful and not get the chats leaked."
He turn his face towards me. "That's not the problem now, what I meant was how can I continue without seeing you in person..."
"My love, everything is possible! I don't mind having a long-distance relationship as long as I can be your girlfriend."
Seungmin caresses my hair. "I feel the same way, it's just that I want to kiss you, cuddle with you... we can't do these things through a screen..."
I kiss his lips softly. "We still have the entire day together Sumi, then I'll try to come to Korea sometimes to see you okay?"
He holds my waist and moves me to make me lay on him, then hugs me tight. "You won't get bored of me if we don't see each other?"
I giggle, hearing these useless worries. "We didn't meet for months and we couldn't even text but we still loved each other right? So nothing will change from now on. We can schedule some video calls during the week and stuff like this!"
"I love you so much..."
"I love you too, I promise you that everything will go for the best."

After some more cuddles we get up.
"So what's the plan now?" I ask.
"You want to meet the members, right?"
"Yes! I would love to see them before you move to the next country."
"They will probably want to explore the city, but some fans could see you and have some suspicions... but I got an idea."

I check myself in the mirror.
"Are you sure this will work?"
Seungmin dressed me with baggy clothes, face mask and sunglasses to make me look like a staff member.
"We have some girls in our team so I think no one will suspect anything. This way we can hang out with the members outside!"

I feel a bit of anxiety as we walk out of the door. I have to be careful and not touch Seungmin and the others when we'll walk out in the city.
We go downstairs to have breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, I see all the members sitting at a table from afar.
Seungmin puts his hand on my shoulder. "Moonie, relax. You know them, they're not gonna eat you or something."

I shyly walk behind Seungmin as he goes towards the table.
I feel everyone's eyes on me so I wait for Seungmin to start the conversation.
He sits down and I do the same. "So guys..." He starts whispering something but even I couldn't hear anything.
"Ehh? Can you raise your voice?" Jooyeon says, confused.
Seungmin sighs and takes out his phone.

Seung: She's Moon, the girl I told you before. She's my girlfriend.

"SO SHE'S THE GIRLFR-" Gaon shuts Jooyeon's mouth with his hand before it's too late.
"Nobody has to know, so she'll act like she's a staff member for today." Seungmin whispers.
"But here there's only us so she could take off her mask for now." Jooyeon suggests.
I look around, the hall was probably reserved for the Heroes. I take off my mask and glasses and feel even shyer than before.
"Nice to meet you, sorry if I'm a bit nervous but I'm still a Villain after all." I nervously laugh.
Gunil shakes my hand. "It's fine, nice to meet you too!"

I greet everyone, I stare a bit longer at Gaon and Junhan notices it.
"Hey, remember what we told you yesterday okay?" Junhan whispers to me. He knows that I miss the friendship I had with Gaon in the dream.
"Wait, did you two meet already?" Gaon asks.
I nod. "Yes, he was nearby when I met Seungmin."
"You know, Seungmin didn't even show us a picture of you." Jungsu jokes.
"Really? Were you gatekeeping?" I say to Seungmin, punching his arm lovingly.
"Shh, it's just because there wasn't a good occasion."
"It just because he would be jealous because you're very pretty."
My cheeks get hot, I giggle and look at Seungmin killing Jungsu with his gaze.

Looking at us all together again, chatting and joking like we did in the dream makes me so happy. It's sad that I will see them only for today, but I learned how to enjoy every moment.

"So, do you want to explore the city?" Seungmin asks to the members.
"Will Moon have to go out all covered like that?" Jooyeon asks.
"If she gets recognized somewhere people will know that she's not a real staff and there could be another scandal... it could be the end for me." Seungmin remarks.
"Then let's just stay here at the hotel!" Jooyeon smiles, looking at me.
"But guys..." I murmur.
"Yeah! We can stay here and talk together!" Jungsu adds.
"Isn't it your last day with your girl?" Gaon whispers to Seungmin. "You can't waste it like this."
"But I know how much you love visiting different countries, there's no problem in covering up, really." I say.
"Moon, we visited enough cities these days. Why should we be so selfish?"
They look sincere, but I feel guilty. "You would really do this for me?"
"Of course, you're our best friend's girlfriend! We want to be your friends too!" Gaon says, with a lovely gaze.
My eyes get a bit glossy. "I love you so much guys..."
"No no no! Don't cry or I'll start crying too!" Jooyeon says, moving his hand towards mine.
"Thank you friends." Seungmin starts. "I'll ask the staff to close this room so that nobody else can enter."

When he comes back the first thing he does is running towards me and grab my face to kiss me.
"Sumi!" I hit his shoulder lightly.
"Couldn't resist!"
"You two look so cute together." Gunil says.
Seungmin sits next to me again, so I hug his arm and rest my head on his shoulder.
"So how did you guys meet for the first time? Seungmin didn't tell us anything." Gaon wonders.
I search for Junhan's eyes, not knowing how to respond.
"Let's just tell them the truth, no?"
"But Hyeongjun, it's an absurd story..." I worry.
"Hyeongjun can be the narrator." Seungmin adds with a lil giggle.

Junhan summarizes everything from the start of the fanfiction to the actual dream, then me and Seungmin describe our points of view.
"I would say that you're kidding me but if she's here... it means that all of this is true?" Gaon says with a mix of confusion and interest.
"I told you that it's an absurd story! But we're serious."
"Also everything that happened is written in the fanfic, Moon wrote the first chapters then... it continued writing itself somehow?" Junhan adds.
"Tell me more, so we were living together every day?" Jungsu asks.
"Yes, and it was so much fun... it lasted a lot too! But one day Seungmin left that world first so I followed him the next day."
Seungmin looks at me. "Wait, you left for me?"
"Wasn't it obvious? I thought about staying there a few more days... but then I feared that you could forget about me in the real world..."
"You silly... I would never forget you." He says softly as he kisses my cheek.

"You guys should read the story." Junhan suggests to the members.
"I was thinking the same, I want to know all the backstory eheh." Jooyeon comments.
"It could be a bit embarrassing to read but yeah, I'd love to recreate the friendships we made in the dream." I affirm.

"Are you thinking about something?" Seungmin asks Gunil, who looks immersed in his thoughts.
"It's just an option but... if you finished school why don't you come to Korea after we end the tour?" Gunil suggests to me.
I look at him and then at Seungmin, we both look baffled. "Well that would be incredible but I don't think that I can go and live in Korea out of nowhere..."
"My love, it's a crazy idea but maybe it could work! You're an adult after all."
"I know it's not a lot of time but there's still a week left before we return to Korea. In the meantime you could ask your parents what they think about this plan." Gunil adds.

I feel nervous but then I start to get excited about their idea, if I lived there I could see Seungmin and the others more frequently and also I've always wanted to try to live in another country.
"Okay guys I'll talk about it with my parents soon."
"You could live in the apartment next to us! Then your dream will become reality eheh." Jungsu proposes.
"Ahh don't tell me that! Now I want to move there for real!"
"Jokes asides, I would be so happy to have you close to me every day. Also if you live in the same building as us we could meet without worrying of getting seen." Seungmin says, holding my hand.

We spend the rest of the day together at the hotel, moving between the restaurant and the rooms until it's time for them to take their flight.
Their van is waiting outside the hotel, it's time to say goodbye for now.
I say bye to everyone and give them a quick hug, before getting in front of Seungmin.
I wrap my arms around his neck and he hugs my waist. "Text me when you talk with your parents okay?" He says.
"Of course." I answer before giving him a long and sweet kiss.

I watch them going away, but I don't feel too sad because deep down I hope our plan will happen and I'll be able to see them again soon.
