Neteyam knew that the moment wouldn't last forever, but he wished it could. He dreaded the thought of having to let you go, even for a moment. He watched the stars silently with you in his arms, savoring every second he had with you, knowing that soon you would have to part.

As the time passed of being in each other's arms, it was soon getting late knowing it was time to leave and get rest. I look down a little sad, wishing I could stay with him forever. I spoke up gently,

"We should probably get some rest. It's getting late."

Neteyam felt a pang of sadness as he realized it was getting late and that he had to let you go for the night. He gently tightened his grip on you, reluctance in his voice.

"I don't want you to go... "

Neteyam sighs, his heart heavy with the thought of letting you go but yet he knew you were right. He gently caresses your cheek with his thumb.

"But.. you're right. Please promise me you'll come see me tomorrow, okay?"

I softly look into his eyes with affection as I nod with a small smile. "I promise."

Neteyam feels a wave of relief wash over him.

"Good... I'll be counting the hours until I can see you again. "

He slowly loosens his grip on you, reluctantly letting you go.

I smile hiding my true sad feelings about leaving him. I turn away before I say anything when I suddenly feel him gently grab my wrist.

Neteyam gently holds your wrist, not wanting to let you go just yet. He turns you around to face him, looking into your eyes with a mix of tenderness and longing.

"Hey... We'll have more time together, okay? This isn't the end."

I heard him softly state trying to reassure me. I softly smile and nod, I look into his eyes before giving him a warm hug.

He wraps his arms around you, feeling a mixture of sadness and relief as he holds you close. He clings to you tightly, his body pressing against yours as he savors the feeling of your body against his. He buries his face in your hair, inhaling your scent and memorizing the feeling of your embrace.

He pulls away just enough to look into your eyes, his expression a mix of tenderness and determination.

"Promise me you'll come see me tomorrow. First thing in the morning. I... I need to see you."

I softly chuckle messing with him, "why so desperate to see me huh?"

He laughs softly, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

"I just... I don't like being away from you. I know it's cheesy, but it's true. You've become... important to me. I just get this feeling like something's missing when you're not around."

"That's so sweet" I smile, my heart melting to his words.

Neteyam smiles back at you, a hint of a blush on his cheeks.

"I'm just being honest. And I meant what I said, okay? You better come see me tomorrow. Early."

He gently runs his fingers through your hair, his touch tender and affectionate.

I gave him a smile, "I promise, you managed to capture my heart when I least expected it."

Neteyam feels his heart skip a beat at your words.

"You have mine too..."

He pulls you back into an embrace, holding you close, his voice a whisper as he speaks softly into your ear.

"I never thought I'd fall in love... but now that I have, I don't ever want to let go."

I look at him with admiration and tenderness. I pull away softly,

"I don't either."

I give him a light kiss on the cheek before I start walking away.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

Neteyam feels a jolt of electricity run through him at the feel of your lips on his cheek. He watches you walk away, a smile on his face, his eyes never leaving you. He stands there for a moment, feeling a strange mix of loneliness and anticipation, as he watches you disappear into the darkness.

" See you tomorrow..."

As you return to your room, you find your brother Aonung waiting for you. His expression is stern and his tone is confrontational. He demands to know where you've been.

"Where were you? You've been gone a while."

He looks at you with a suspicious expression, his eyes narrowing as he waits for your response. I cross my arms, not telling the whole truth.

"I was going for a walk, looking at the stars."

Aonung studies you with a suspicious expression.

"Just admiring the stars, hm?"

He gives you a doubtful sidelong look.

"Seems like a pretty late time to go stargazing."

I was going to respond back quick when I hear another voice, my sister Tsireya walking in and joining in the conversation.

"It's actually a great night for stargazing, the night sky is clear tonight and the stars are shining beautifully. Can't blame her for wanting to enjoy the view."

"I sure did enjoy it, Thank you Tsireya."

I grin and cross my arms. Aonung gives me a disapproving glare, clearly still suspicious of my answer but unable to argue further with Tsireya's support. He spoke up,

"Fine. As long you didn't get in trouble. Just be more careful walking around alone at night."

He sighs while giving me a final glare before stomping away muttering under his breath. I grin before giving Tsireya a look.

"Who said I was alone?" I whispered as we laugh, clearing amused by the exchange. Aonung freezes, turning back to me, his expression more annoyed.

"Why did you just say?"

"Oh nothing. Goodnight" I smile trying to hold back my laughter.

Aonung scowls, clearly not believing you. But he doesn't push it further, grumbling as he stalks away. Tsireya laughs, giving you a lighthearted salute.

"You're a handful, girl. You know that?"

"What can I say?" I shrug my shoulders and smiled.

Tsireya grins, clearly entertained by our banter. We wave goodbye and she heads off to get rest.

I make my way back to bed, feeling amused by the situation, but also grateful for Tsireya's assist. Once inside my room, I lie down on the bed, feeling a strange mix of exhaustion and excitement from my night with Neteyam.

As I drift off to sleep, my mind is filled with thoughts of him and the promise I made to see him again in the morning.
