It was the next day, your sister greeting you good morning. "Where are our parents" you asked not seeing them around.

Y/n pov
"Oh they went to talk to zu'tuk's family outside" tsireya said not having her eyes on me. I walked closer to her to see what she was doing just to see zu'tuk's body.

"Why is he still here" I said sounding a bit annoyed.
"it was my idea, I wanted to treat his wounds and take care of him until he wakes up" I turned around to see father with mother and zu'tuk's family behind him. I sighed knowing I couldn't do anything about it 'that bastard deserve it' I thought. I saw a lady walked up to me and grabbed my hands gently.

"My name is nayari, I'm zu'tuk's mother and I deeply apologize for my son." She said to me as I looked down to see that she was pregnant.
"it's alright" I give her a small smile sensing that she was good person.

I heard groans behind me and so did they. I turned around to see zu'tuk awake. Honestly just looking at him made my blood boil but, I remain calm knowing that his family was there. I saw his family walked up to him talking about how they were worried about him. But just scolding him after.

Nayari put her hand on his face gently caressing it but quickly pulling his ears. Making zu'tuk yelp in pain, "your in big trouble when we get home, and apologize to her right now"

His eyes quickly landing on yours, he froze not knowing what to said. "I'm sorry for what I did" he said quietly looking anywhere but your eyes.
"speak louder so she can hear you"
" I'm really sorry for what I did, it wasn't right" he said louder. I stood there waiting for more because an apology wasn't going to cut it. I sighed and shaked my head slightly.
"say something" mother said as she give me the side eye.
   "no it's alright, if she doesn't want to say anything" nayari stated.

He sat there, "come on boy let's go" his father said and zu'tuk's family left. He walked past me and I still felt like he had that exact glare from that night and like he didn't mean that apology. But I shaked it off.

As the day pass, I felt it went faster than usual was it because I was going to meet up with neteyam? I felt really nervous and tsireya noticed "are you alright sis?"

I looked up "Yesterday I kinda um ask neteyam to hang out and I'm meeting him tonight"

She gasped hitting my shoulder multiple times.
"What that's amazing, I'll always ship you two" she exclaimed. I sat there shaking my head at my sister who is currently fangirling.

"what if something goes wrong. What if I say something wrong." You panicked making tsireya comfort you "hey it's ok just be yourself"

I nodded softly shaking the nerves off. "well I should go it's almost time" I stood up and your sister nodded "be careful" she said
"I will,bye" I said

I went to the place I said we were going to meet up but he wasn't there. I looked around to see if he was coming but I didn't see him. 'don't tell me he forgot' I thought getting scared starting to walk to the shore. I looked down feeling sad when you felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see neteyam.

"I'm sorry was I late" he said out of breath, examining how your face looks sad.

As soon as I heard him, my face brightened up "no not at all" I grabbed his arm and told him to call for his ilu. I called nari and waited for him to follow me.After a few minutes, I made it to my special place. We entered and I saw how his face brightened.

We got off our my ilu letting them play together. I could see how he was surprised, examining the place.
"I come here to think or just when I need to be alone. My special place, nobody knows about this place expect you" I said as he turned around.

I looked straight into his beautiful eyes not wanting to look away. It was only a few seconds but it felt like hours.

Neteyam's POV
"I come here to think or just when I need to be alone. My special place, nobody knows about this place expect you" she told me as I turned around. I looked straight into those beautiful eyes, if she keeps looking at me like that I might have to kiss her.
' what is wrong with me' making me snapped out of my thoughts asking her  "then why did you bring me here?"

Y/n POV
He looked deep in thought, "then why did you bring me here" he asked.
I froze not knowing how to answer the question.      I put my finger to my mouth, thinking....

  "well I really don't know" I felt a little embarrassed hoping he won't notice.

It looked like he was going to say something but I stopped him.

"here follow me" grabbed his arm gently as you guided him through the place, exploring every single bit of it.

You don't know how long has passed but right now both of you were sitting down, admiring the view.

  "You asked me why I brought you here." He looked at me giving me a sign to continue "well I never really got a chance to say thank you" he looked a little confused. "that night with zu'tuk, I really appreciate your help even though I could've defend myself."
I said as I laughed making him laugh also.

He loved that laugh, how it sounded to his ears and how it echoed off the walls.

"I really admire you as a person" I said as I looked at him. Making your heart beat fast and making butterflies swarm in your stomach. 'Shit I said it' you thought nervous.

    This shocked him, blushing slightly at your response.

"I admire you too, you're such a beautiful girl" he said realizing he said to much.

Hearing him said those words sounding like music my ears. We looked at each other and it felt like hours. It felt like I couldn't look away from his eyes

I felt his hands, go to my face caressing it as he got closer. I also got closer to him slowly putting my hands on his chest as he softly kissed me and I felt how soft his lips were. Not wanting the kiss to end, we pulled away and looked into each other's eyes.

"You're welcome for saving you" he said laughing as you laughed also.

Throughout the rest of the night y'all told stories about each other and laughed until tears came out.

"it's getting really late we should go back home. We don't want our parents to worry." He said but I didn't want to leave, I wanted to stay with him. But he was right.

He helped me up and we rode our ilus back home. We made it back and now it was time to say our goodbyes.
"thank you for tonight" I said
"of course, it was your idea though" he said rubbing his neck nervously.
  You giggled making his heart flatter, "bye ney" you said seeing him walk back to his home. "Bye" he smiled

I smiled at him walking the opposite direction, blushing thinking about the kiss over and over.
      not aware of the person watching you in the shadows.
