Y/n POV
I went back home standing at the entrance, thinking about the night I had with neteyam. I wish I could repeat this night over and over. Repeat that kiss over and over.
"Where the hell were you?" I heard a voice say sounding mad or maybe more worried.
I turned around to see aonung looking at me with a serious face. 'Oh shit I'm screwed' I thought.
I stood there not answering his question.

"I asked you a question" he said, he looked like he was finna snap. "I was hanging out-" I said stopping myself. 'wait I can't said anything about ney' I thought not wanting to say anything else. Aonung stood there losing every bit of his patience. He grabbed my arm, yanking me inside just to see my parents and tsireya.

They layed their eyes on me. Tsireya was to the first to run up and hug me. 'Was I really gone for that long' I thought. "I was so worried something happen to you" tsireya giving me a look 'give me all the details later' I nodded knowing what she was talking about. My parents give my siblings a look to leave the room.

I sat down knowing I wasn't going to leave without getting scolded. "we were worried about you" father speaking first. " I'm so sorry father, mother" I said looking at them individually. "you weren't with that sully boy were you?" She asked making me freeze, 'I can't lie to her, she'll just find out sooner or later' I thought.

"Yes I was with ney" I said, making them realize the nickname I gave him.

"You should stop hanging out with him" mother said.
"w-what" I said making my heart hurt with her words.

"Ronal" father said trying to warn her, but she just put her hand up to stop him from talking.
"That boy is not who I want to be your mate" she said, making me angry.

"I'm the one who gets to chose who I wanna be with" I said, putting my right hand to my chest.

"do you really want to disappoint your family?" She said

"of course, not but-" I said only for her to interrupt me.
"ok then, if you don't want to disappoint us, then you're going to listen to me."

"that isn't fair, you can't just force me to be with someone" I yelled, making me stand up.

"Sit back down, now" she said making me snap little by little.

Your father not knowing what to do "you two calm down" he said hoping that it would work.

"As your mother I need to choose whats best for you and this family!" She said aggressively pointing to you then pointing to the ground.

"didn't you see what happen with zu'tuk, neteyam is the only one who's actually treats me like a real person. Those boys would just use me, and I'm tired of it. I like him and he likes me too." You snapped making your parents freeze.

"Wait did you two-" she asked, realizing what she meant. "No" I said.

"watch your mouth" she spat. 'I can't take it anymore' I thought.

"what are you saying?" Father asked. Mother giving him a side eye.

  "how are you so calm about this" she asked now facing towards him.

"that" I stopped. My parents facing towards me again.

"that you what?" Mother said, hoping she wasn't going to hear what she thought.
