Wishing I was someone else,Wishing for a life with more purpose,
Wishing not to be here,
So many wishes I've lost count,
Wish after wish after wish,
They say to wish on a shooting star but they all just fly past and plummet down to infinity,
Taking your hopes and dreams with them,
Maybe in a different universe the stars don't betray us,
Leaving us wretched and despondent,
Floating in space with the graveyards of lost stars, carrying the burden of dead wishes and dreams.
