Chainsaw Man: Bringing forth war. (Yoru x Denji Reader)

part 3: That ended nothing.

By the end of it, both of you are greatly disfigured with the devils corpse having its resources exhausted. Aka in non fancy terms, there's no way to heal. Yoru's whip has burned to ash from you using your fire abilites to ignite your chainsaws, although you couldn't manage to cauterize her wounds as she kept dodging. Neither of you are in any condition to fight, your body having multiple holes punched into it from a bunch of different angles.

You cough a little

"WHAT DID I DO TO YOU!? WHY'D YOU GOTTA DO THIS?!"

"I bit you like 20 times!"

You both breath heavily, you attempting to get to your feet as your knees give out.

"Elaborate." Actively coughing blood

"..I took many bites out of you a little while ago-"

You slowly manage to stand, barely being able to walk over to her. She starts frantically searching for something to turn into a weapon, assuming the worst of you. You did just fight and almost kill eachother though, so it's understandable. she's surprised when you just sit down infront of her. And by sit down, I mean you stumbled and fell on your ass.

"Whatever. Fine. I don't care about if you wanna defeat me or not, I want to heal. If I take a bite out of you, you can take a bite out of me. That work?"

You don't respond as your grab her partially skinned arm, biting and taking a chunk of flesh from it. Your bones realign with eachother and your flesh wounds heal, but your internal organs are still suffering. You hold your arm out for her as you bite her again.

She's briefly angered by the fact that you're taking more than one bite. Though when she sees you're offering her the same, she doesn't care about you eating her entire arm anymore. You both cannibalize eachother until all your wounds are healed, you both recovering and getting up.

"..I'm gonna go home..?"

you both walk towards the blood stained apartment building. Actually, the entire lower complex is blood stained, but that's not your problem. Your chainsaws break and fall to the ground, your head turning back to normal as the chainsaw engine design melts off of you. You both, surprisingly, have a calm elevator ride to her floor. She walks out, you take the elevator up again.

Hours pass, it's around 9 pm. What a devil hunt, right? What devil was she? What was her name? Where was she from? Is she a fiend? She had a human body, so she must be a fiend, right?

Meanwhile..

'God. I should've had my headphones on, maybe you wouldn't have heard him and I'd be asleep right now.'

Yoru returns control of her body to asa as the war devil collapses face first onto the bed, asa sitting on the edge of it.

'...I should start looking for jobs.'

'I wanna buy an actual house, not live in some default, bland apartment.'

'I don't feel like having someone's head and spinal cord on my mantle, yoru.'

Asa lays on her back, staring at the ceiling with her hands on her stomach.

'No, I'm not. You think he'd want to date me? You just attacked him IN MY BODY!'

Yoru has no response as she's passed out cold, asa sighing and moving backwards up the bed. She closes her eyes but has trouble going to sleep. She witnessed her own body not only move without her consent, but get cut to pieces multiple times within the span of 30 minutes. She's never witnessed yoru get hurt before, so it was a little jarring to realize that yoru isn't invincible. Her mind races as her body slowly shuts itself down, asa falling asleep next to yoru.
