You probably failed your AP test but it's whatever. You're in advanced placement, that's good enough. It's around 5 pm, 2 hours after school got out, so you've been doing nothing. You bought candles on Asa's behalf, which was difficult because of your social anxiety, but it was worth it. Now we wait.

Asa stares at herself in her bathroom mirror, leaning foward on the counter before side stepping and turning the shower on.

Asa listens to Yoru despite knowing where this is going. She starts stripping down to get into the shower.

Asa has no response to that as she's getting ready for her date. Yoru has her overthinking, however. Are you really doing this out of pity?

She feels a sinking sensation in her gut, like butterflies but backwards. It's nervousness and almost gut-wrenching. Shes only been talking to you for 3 weeks, why does she feel like this?

6 pm, Asa knocks on your door. She's staring intently at the doorknob while waiting for it to turn, and it does after a few seconds. She looks up at you and is instantly surprised by how good you look with the lighting so dim and intimate. She slowly steps inside.

'Didn't think you'd actually get candles..'

"..."

No response as you kick the door shut behind her. You tap her shoulder to grab her attention and lead her into your room, letting her leave the door open if she wants, which she doesn't, so she closes it herself.

You've already gotten comfortable in bed, laying with your legs straightened and feet crossed on one side while letting Asa have the other. She gets under the blankets with you, and you hand her the remote.

'Didn't pick out a movie yet? Huh.'

"I didn't know of anything good, so I'm letting you choose."

'We don't need a movie. Just you and me.'

She turns the tv off, setting the remote on the nightstand.

"Oh really?"

'Really.'

She puts her hand on yours. She gently brings your hand up and locks fingers with you briefly, then sliding her fingers out from between yours and bringing you into a hug.
