Next week, Wednesday
Rose's POV:
"Yes, yes I KNOW - you know what, JUST BRING THE WHOLE YELLOW SELF, YEJI !"
I stumbled to put on my office heels as I told (or tried to) Yeji to bring the files I stupidly forgot to bring for today while pressing my phone tight between my shoulder and ear. After like an eternity, the court decided to hold the trial of Miko's case today.
Even though I spent my entire last week on my bed binge watching Enhypen's performances and that show called En'O clock (does swooning over Jay's visual count?), still the final files were damn ready a loooooong time ago.
I left all of them in my office yesterday and now I'm having to yell at Yeji to give introduction which is the correct file.
"Okay okay chill, I'm bringing them. See you at the trial courtroom." Yeji grumbled and hung up the phone.
It's only past morning, 10 or something, and I have less than only twenty minutes to go to the court and prepare for the last time.
Blame Enhypen for having a lot of reality shows which kept me awake all night.
I glanced at myself on the mirror for the last time.
All in the court uniform. Hair tight from the low ponytail.
Perfect!
I picked up my blazer and sunglasses before running through my front door.

*B-O-N-K*Jay's car honked as soon as I came down on the street.
"Eomma!" I yelped, nearly falling over the familiar black Mercedes glaring at me with it's front lights.
Jay peeked his head out of the glass window from the driver's seat, flasing his perfectly shaped white teeth in a wide grin.
"Morning ! Skipped the 'good' part because we're already twenty minutes late."I rested one of my hand on my hip. "This is not what we call nice. I could've tripped over your car just now."
Another signature knee weakening grin of his came in the sunlight-y view.
"Ah, sorry, now let's put aside our nice talk and go to the court first, yeah?" He checked the Rolex on his wrist which's resting on the steering wheel. "I just saw others leave with their cars, they must've already arrived by now. Hop in!"
His voice is extremely cheery today.I grabbed the door and got in the passenger's seat without trying another word.
Remind me to never bicker with this menace again. The only place where I lose arguments in - is only with this bastard. That's not the thing I hate. The thing I hate is - I love to lose arguments with him.
Dio aiutami'. *God help me.

(At the court)"Damn it. Why Yeji isn't here by now." I muttered frustratedly, ignoring the nonstop talking sounds wrapping around me while sitting on my chair helplessly.
The court waiting area is always filled with lawyers revisioning mumbles, clients panicking and forks - cutluries clattering.
Unfortunately, we, lawyers have to do our last minute checkups in this unbearable noises.Yeji isn't here yet and this is exactly why I always bring my files with myself.
I swear! I'm never this messy.
But I guess today is just my bad day.Ugh.

"Is this lawyer Morphyn?"
A slight tap on my shoulder caused me to turn around and take in the sight of a Korean man in probably his early twenty's with charming dressup and features staring at my soul.
He's attractive. But I don't know why, I felt -
