Joseph burst into the hospital room, his face lighting up with relief as he saw Zeo resting peacefully. The sight of her recovering, though still weak, filled him with a profound sense of relief. Beside her, Ren and Sindy were seated, their presence a comforting constant for Zeo.

Joseph approached Zeo with a soft smile. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before handing her a glass of water. "How are you feeling?" he asked quietly.

Zeo managed a weak but grateful smile. "Better now that you're here," she replied, her voice hoarse.

Ren glanced up from his seat. "Joseph, I need to let you know that tomorrow, there will be an investigation into the incident involving Zeo and the three others at the city's head building."

Joseph's expression grew serious. "And who's leading the investigation?"

Ren replied, "One of the investigators is S.H. - Mayumi's once good friend."

At the mention of S.H., Joseph's face darkened. Sindy, who was sitting beside Zeo, looked up with curiosity. "Is S.H. coming tomorrow?"

Ren nodded. "Yes, he will be there."

The tension in the room became palpable as Joseph's jealousy and frustration simmered. S.H. was a male investigator known for his obsessive interest in Zeo, and the mere mention of him stirred up feelings of unease in Joseph.

Without a word, Joseph's face twisted in anger. He stormed out of the room, his frustration evident in his quick strides.

Ren and Sindy exchanged worried glances before Ren stood up, a light chuckle escaping him despite the situation. "I better go after him," Ren said, his voice tinged with a mix of amusement and concern.

He followed Joseph down the corridor, catching up with him just as he reached the hospital's exit. Ren placed a calming hand on Joseph's shoulder. "Joseph, calm down. I understand your feelings, but getting angry won't help anyone. We need to stay focused on Zeo's recovery and the investigation."

Joseph took a deep breath, his anger slowly dissipating as he looked at Ren. "I know. It's just hard to see S.H. involved. His obsession with Zeo... it makes me uneasy."

Ren nodded sympathetically. "I get it. But remember, we're all working towards the same goal here. Let's handle this together and support Zeo through this difficult time."

Joseph sighed, nodding in agreement. "You're right. I'll try to keep my emotions in check."

With a final reassuring pat on the back, Ren and Joseph headed back to Zeo's room, ready to face the challenges that lay ahead with renewed focus and determination.

The next day, outside the glass room where the investigation was taking place, Joseph stood with a tense expression, his gaze locked on Zeo. Inside the room, the atmosphere was charged with tension. The investigator S.H. and his partner and wife, Sia, were seated at a long table, preparing to question Zeo, Lucky, and Vector.

Vector, Zeo, and S.H. were once close friends, and their strained interactions were evident. As the questioning began, Vector's frustration boiled over, leading to a heated argument with S.H. The conflict was a result of old grievances, and now, with S.H. on the other side of the desk, the dynamic had shifted dramatically.

Zeo tried to mediate, hoping to diffuse the situation, but S.H.'s voice grew louder, drowning out her attempts at resolution. Feeling defeated, Zeo leaned back in her chair, her expression one of disappointment.

Joseph, misinterpreting the situation, pushed open the glass door and stormed into the room. He seized S.H. by the collar, his anger barely contained. S.H., aware that Joseph was Zeo's husband, took a deep breath and called out to Ren, who was waiting outside. "Ren! Get in here, please!"
