The hostel was a hive of activity as the children, bags and baggage in tow, were ushered into their new rooms. The corridors echoed with the mixed sounds of chatter and the occasional sob as families said their tearful goodbyes.

Mayumi clung tightly to Joseph's leg, her eyes brimming with tears. Joseph knelt down, his voice tender but firm. "You'll do great here, Mayumi. Remember, you have to be brave and make new friends."

Mayumi nodded, though her lip trembled. Sindy, holding Midori, patted her shoulder gently. "You'll be just fine, sweetie. We'll visit soon, and you can always call us if you need anything."

The boys, Norio and Asahi, stood nearby, also fighting back tears. They exchanged glances, their own worries reflected in each other's eyes. Anabella hugged them both tightly, whispering words of encouragement as she helped them into the hostel.

After the goodbyes, the children were shown to their rooms by Yuri, who had a mixture of sympathy and sternness in her eyes. "Alright, time for a bath and then we'll get you settled in," she announced, trying to keep things upbeat.

The children followed Yuri to the communal bathroom, where they scrubbed away the remnants of their earlier emotions. Mayumi was first out, dressed in her new hostel uniform, and her playful nature began to shine through. "I'm ready!" she announced proudly.

The boys, however, were having trouble with their shirts. Norio and Asahi struggled with buttons and collars, their frustration evident. Yuri, already feeling the strain of the day, huffed as she entered the room. "Come on, boys! You've got to learn to do this properly. It's not that hard."

Just then, Robin walked in, his face breaking into a grin at the sight of the struggling boys. "Need some help here?" he asked, his voice full of amusement.

Yuri shot him a look. "They can't manage their shirts. It's been one of those days."

Robin chuckled and stepped in, deftly helping the boys with their shirts. "Alright, let's get these on before we all lose our minds," he said, his hands moving quickly.

As the boys were dressed, Yuri's attention turned to the task of fixing their hair. To her surprise, all three had surprisingly long hair. "Wait a minute," Yuri said, staring at the boys' buns. "You're boys, not girls. What's with the hairstyles?"

Norio, looking a bit sheepish, replied, "It's just how we've always done it. It's comfortable."

Robin laughed, shaking his head. "You all look like you're ready for a hair contest. Let's get those buns fixed up so you don't look like you're auditioning for a drama."

The room filled with laughter as Robin expertly tied up the boys' hair, his playful teasing easing the tension. Even Yuri managed a smile, though she continued to mutter about needing to get more appropriate hairstyles for the kids.
