As your consciousness slowly returns, the first thing you become aware of is the searing pain that radiates through every fiber of your being.

Your body feels heavy, weak, as if you've been run over by a carriage and left for dead. You're lying on a cold, hard floor, the stones digging into your bare skin.

Groggily, you try to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washes over you, forcing you back down.

You blink in the dim light, struggling to focus on your surroundings.
You're in a large, circular chamber, the walls lined with shelves overflowing with ancient tomes and strange artifacts. The air is thick with the scent of dust, decay, and something else... something dark and unsettling.

As you take in your immediate environment, a flicker of movement catches your eye.

You follow the movement to see the Queen standing across the room, a knowing smirk playing on her lips.

She's dressed in a flowing gown of black silk, the fabric clinging to her curves like a second skin. The emerald pendant at her throat glows with an eerie light, pulsing in time with her dark magic.

'Well, well,' she purrs, her voice like a snake slithering through the grass. 'Look who's awake. I see you've managed to survive our little lesson, for now. But don't think you're out of the woods, my darling. We're just getting started.'

'I'll never succumb to your foul play, you witch,' you grit through your teeth.

The Queen's eyes flash with delight at your defiant words, a cruel smile twisting her lips.

'Oh, I do adore spirit in my playthings,' she murmurs, sauntering towards you with the predatory grace of a cat stalking its prey. 'It makes the eventual surrender all the more... satisfying.'

She crouches beside you, her hand reaching out to cup your jaw, her touch sending shivers of revulsion down your spine.

'But you'd do well to remember your place, princess. I am your mistress now, and you will obey.'

As if to emphasize her point, she flexes her fingers, a dark energy crackling around her hand.
You feel the magic seeping into your skin, the corrupting influence twisting at your will, trying to break you.

But you grit your teeth, summoning the last vestiges of Sukuna's determination.

'No,' you snarl, shaking off her grip. 'I'll never submit to you, you vile creature. I'll die first.'

The Queen's laughter rings out, cold and mirthless.

'We'll see about that,' she says, her eyes glinting with malevolence. 'For now, let's begin your training. There's much for you to learn, and little time to waste.'

As she approaches you with her hand out, preparing to lash out, you desperately grab an object near you and throw it at her with as much force you had left in you.

Your desperate attack catches the Queen off guard, but not enough to save you from her swift countermove.

With a flick of her wrist, dark energy lashes out, striking the object you hurled with brutal force. It explodes into fragments against the throne, spraying stone shards that riddle your arm with stinging cuts.

'Foolish child,' the Queen spits. 'You think a mere trinket can harm me? Or that you can defy me and live?'

Suddenly a creature from a dark corner lunges at you, its claws extended as she raises a hand to unleash another blast of dark magic.

But this time, Sukuna's presence surges forth, a wall of protective energy shielding you from the impending assault.
The Queen's magic clashes against his, the air crackling with power as the two forces wrestle for dominance.

'Enough! the Queen roars, her face twisted with rage and exhaustion. 'I won't be defeated by a cursed puppet and his whelp. You'll pay for your impudence, traitor!'

With a savage cry, she unleashes a torrent of dark energy, the power of her curse manifesting in a blinding light that threatens to consume everything.

Sukuna holds firm, his own magic blazing in response, as the chamber shakes and trembles under the onslaught.

Sukuna's presence suddenly envelops you like a warm cloak, lifting you off the ground and carrying you through the churning chaos.

The floor beneath your feet crumbles away, revealing a yawning void, as the Queen's furious magic continues to rip through the chamber. Stonework crashes down, sending up clouds of dust and debris.

'Don't look back,' Sukuna urges, his voice steady despite the turmoil. 'Just hold on to me, and I'll get us out of here.'

His dark energy shields you from the worst of the impact as he propels you forward, leaping over a widening fissure in the stone.
The air is filled with the acrid stench of burning wood and the screams of the cursed minions who dare to stand against them. Even amidst the destruction, Sukuna's hold on you remains unyielding.

'We have to find a way to escape,' he continues, his thoughts a blur of urgency in your mind. 'The Queen will regroup, and next time, she won't hold back. We need to regroup, gather our allies, and plan our next move.'

As he speaks, the ground stabilizes beneath your feet, the worst of the collapse behind you.

You glance back warily, seeing the ruined remnants of the chamber and the Queen's throne room, now reduced to a twisted heap of rubble. The cursed forest ominously looming ahead in the distance.

You turn to face Sukuna, your legs trembling from the adrenaline-fueled escape, your gaze searching the dusty haze that clings to his form like a shroud.

His expression is grim, his eyes blazing with determination as he meets your gaze.

'We have to pass through the woods, don't we?' your voice comes out in a gasp.

'Yes, we'll have to pass through the forest,' he confirms, his voice low and steady. 'It's treacherous, but with my guidance, we can navigate its dangers. As for me...'

He pauses, his features softening for a fleeting moment, before his resolute mask settles back into place.

'I'll remain with you, always. My bond with you is unbreakable, brat. And as long as you stand, so do I.'

With a subtle nod, he begins to move, leading you towards the shattered entrance of the chamber.
The twisted forest awaits, its shadows promising untold perils, but together, you'll face whatever horrors lurk within.
The path ahead is uncertain, but one thing is clear - as long as Sukuna is by your side, you'll never truly be alone.

'Let's move, love,' he says, his tone brooking no argument. 'We have a long journey ahead, and I can't keep you safe if you lag behind.'

You blink a few times before following him, unsure whether he actually used the nickname, or you're still high on adrenaline.

Dissipating your thoughts with a swift gesture, he conjures a dark shield, its energy pulsing with his power as he guides you towards the threshold of the cursed woods.
