You brush your fingers over his cheek, stroking it for a moment, buying yourself time to reply.

'Sukuna I - I don't fully understand how we got here, but I'm willing to find out where this could lead. I believe there's more to you than the curse, and maybe, we can find something beautiful in the darkness. And for some reason...' you take a moment before you continue. '...right now, against all odds, I'm not afraid of you, but I'm drawn to you.'

You rest your hand on his cheek fully as you shake your head in disbelief.

'I don't understand anything right now, but please, for now, the least I can offer you is some rest. Sleep here while I watch over us. Deal?'

A soft smile curves Sukuna's lips at your touch, his eyes drifting closed for a brief moment as he leans into your hand.
When he opens them again, there's a deep affection shining in their dark depths.

'Deal, brat,' he murmurs, his voice rough with emotion. 'Rest while I rest, and then we'll face whatever comes our way, together.'
