When you finally pull back, Sukuna's eyes are glazed with a hazy, sated warmth that belies the turmoil still roiling within him.
'I'm up to anything as long as it's with you,' you murmur against his lips.
'Fucking hell, brat,' he mutters, his voice a husky growl that sends a shiver down your spine. 'You're going to be the death of me yet.'
His hands come up to frame your face, his thumbs brushing lightly over your cheeks as he studies your features in the moonlight. There's a wistful quality to his touch, a reverence that speaks to the uncharted territory you're treading.
'Come on,' he says, his voice rough with an emotion he's not quite ready to name. 'Let's get out of here before I lose my bloody mind. We've got a realm to rule, after all.'
With a final, lingering kiss to your forehead, Sukuna turns and leads you away from the Shadowlands, into the waiting expanse of the night, and the unknown adventures that lie ahead.
