KEYANAH'S POV ☆
After taking a shower I changed into my lounge wear then headed downstairs to put the veggies in the oven for me and Kayla's dinner.
We were having a cheesy potatoe oven dish and some fried rice with beef bits.
She was over at the White's house so I went over to get her since it was a 5min walk, Mrs.White offered to take her until I got back from work and I'd arranged for her driver to drop her off there everyday after daycare
DING-DONG
I Could hear Kayla giggling and running around the house while I was waiting at the door...she's happy here
"Coming!"
Mrs.White opened the door while drying her hands with a towel,it seemed she was making dinner too since it was late like that
"Hi Mrs.White!"
"Hey shugga,walk right in
I was just making her a snack
Did you have a good day today?"
She greeted me with a hug and I walked in and sat on the kitchen stool
"Ouuu she eating good huh
Yeah the day was good ,had me 3 private sessions...I hope she wasn't any trouble now" Kayla was now in the kitchen tugging at my sweater
"Not at all ! She's an angel
Aren't you shugga?"
She said with Kayla now on her hip
I chuckled a little
"And I heard you've been bringing in a lot of clients to the club , Denver is very pleased you know "
Kayla was now sat on the counter with Mrs.White putting her little shoes on her
"Yeah he says my arrival boosted business"
"It sure did" She was done dressing up Kayla and had her "snack" ready for her,by the end of the year Kayla finna be Bigbacked fr
"This for her...I seen that she likes candied yams and chicken nuggets" while handing me the covered paper plate
"Thank you Mrs.White...for everything
I really appreciate it, not everybody feels good about opening their homes up these days"
"Ohh hush it's nothing,coloured folks down here help each other all the time
Just double it up and send it to the next person....Come on Kayla, your theethee's gonna take you home now"
"I sthhay..."Kayla said while holding onto Mrs.Whites skirt
"Girl byee" I scooped her into my arms
"So tomorrow I'm off from work so she'll be with me...Thanks again Mrs.White "
"It's a pleasure baby...bye Kaylanì"
Kayla waved goodbye
"Ohh such an Angel..."
I nodded and we walked out the door,walking back to our place.
"You hungry"
She nodded her head no cause she was still full on the late lunch Mrs White packed for her.
I got done cooking,ate my dinner and then packed away the leftovers after doing the dishes
"What we finna watch kay?"
"You want cocomelon?"
"Nuh uhh toto"
