Bri and I were standing behind the sofa ,singing along to the AZ yet song that was on high volume
Drink in hand
Manners missing
Not a care in the world
"Spark up"
Jae threw me a blunt and I lit it
Smoking it with bri
"Man I'm tired asf...all that jumping around and singing " I said to Montay ,sitting down on the sofa next to him and snuggling into his open arm
"Have some" Montay said,handing me his blunt
"Don't burn my hoodie key..."
"I wont"
"You look beautiful tonight ma"
I blushed a little
"Thank you "
I brought the blunt closer to his lips and then smoked the rest while laying on his chest
Bri and Jael were now somewhere on the balcony and I could hear their distant chatter

Jaelam and I were smoking on the balcony
Talking about life
I was really getting to know him
He was a law school graduate and did business on the side
Two brothers ,no parents and a very strict uncle
Does yoga on the weekends and isn't religious, has a belief system tho..

He'd be sober for months then get back to it on a random day.
I left him and moved cities twice
Got a restraining order...but he'd still come around
I finally pulled the plug and moved states when he.."
I started choking up ,wanting to cry
"When he stabbed me when I was 6months pregnant with our son...the baby didn't make it"

"Yeah...biggest loss I've ever had
It hasn't been easy dealing with everything that happened, I just take it as it comes "

His phone rang and he handed me the blunt, I smoked it while looking at the winter night sky...clear and peaceful
"Well sorry about that...been getting calls since morning" He said switching off his phone

"Ex problems?"
We both chuckled
"Mhhm not at all,just some stupid high end event this week that I don't wanna go to"
"Why don't you wanna go?I bet it'll be fun and all flashy"

"Uhm yeah,had no plans for this week anyway

At this point I was blushing real bad

"Wait so you've never a fine dining experience?" Jaelam said while laughing

I jokingly pushed his shoulder

You just look like a woman who loves being wined and dined,can't go without it...
I guess that's another reason why you should go to the "flashy fun" event with me"
"Omg pleaseeeee

Plus that A grade caviar???haven't had that in a while"

Sorry for the late update(later than usual)
I had to go back home for my father's funeral and the network there was very shitty, not to mention the grieving process and trying to get used to my new reality
