The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow over the cheerleading practice field. Minjeong stood at the edge, her eyes fixed on Yu Jimin, the captain of the cheerleading team. Amidst the rhythmic chants and synchronized moves, Jimin's laughter and effortless charisma drew Minjeong's attention. The sight of Jimin, radiant and engaged with her teammates, made Minjeong's heart race with a mix of hope and nervousness.

Unbeknownst to Jimin, her gaze fell upon Minjeong, who was quietly observing the practice. Jimin had been too absorbed in her routine until Yuna, a fellow cheerleader, pointed her out.

"I see one of your admirers came to watch you today," Yuna said with a teasing grin.

Jimin's attention shifted to where Yuna was looking. Her eyes fell on Minjeong, who stood at the sidelines with a hopeful expression. Jimin's eyes widened slightly as she took in Minjeong's appearance-her short blonde hair styled neatly into a low bun and her glasses perched on her nose. Jimin couldn't help but find Minjeong's look unexpectedly attractive.

"I see you got yourself a cutie," Yuna continued with a mischievous tone. "Better not make her wait too long, Jimin."

Jimin's cheeks flushed slightly, though she tried to maintain her composure. "I guess so," she said, her voice betraying a hint of interest.

With a mix of curiosity and determination, Jimin walked over to Minjeong, who stood nervously. Jimin noted how Minjeong's appearance, though simple, had a charm that was hard to ignore.

"What are you doing here?" Jimin asked, her tone a blend of intrigue and mild annoyance.

Minjeong took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. "I was wondering if I could take you out on a date this weekend."

Jimin raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a faint smile as she considered the request. "I don't know. I'm a busy person, Minjeong. But if I don't have any plans, then you may take me out on a date."

Minjeong's heart lifted at Jimin's tentative acceptance. "Can I have your number, you know... to hear from you?"

Jimin pulled out her phone and quickly typed her number into Minjeong's phone, her fingers moving with a practiced ease. She handed the phone back with a small, genuine smile. "Thanks," Minjeong said, her voice full of relief and gratitude.

"Sure," Jimin replied, her tone warm but nonchalant, before turning back to her practice.

As Jimin rejoined her teammates, Minjeong felt a renewed sense of determination. Winning Jimin's heart was going to be a challenge, but Minjeong was ready for it. She had a month to prove herself, and she was determined to make every moment count.

With Jimin's number now in her phone and a surge of hope driving her forward, Minjeong knew she had taken an important step. The road ahead would be tough, but she was prepared to face it with all the effort and persistence she had. She was ready to show Jimin that she could be the one to bring a smile to her face every day.
