Rob tumbled out of bed and stumbled in the kitchen like Dolly Parton. With his only interaction during the night with Liv being accidentally touching her foot once, he slept fairly soundly. Kendall, the only guy who had beaten him to the kitchen area, quietly watched him shuffle to the cabinet as he munched on a banana. Rob gave him a greeting nod followed by a long pause.

"I'm gonna make avocado toast for my girlfriends," he muttered, finally breaking the silence, "I just need to apologize to both of them for, like..."

"What? The reaction?" Kendall interrupted.

"Yeah... this is a good idea, right?"

"For both of them?"

"Yeah..."

Kendall looked him up and down with a puzzled look, "It's a good idea."

"You're not... that's not giving me at all confidence."

Kendall let out a loud snort before responding, "No, no, it's a good idea! But, like, yeah, you're doing it for both of them, so maybe they're, like... Leah's, like, 'Oh, you did it for her, too?' Maybe I'm overthinking it..."

"I feel like it's just nice, though. I mean, it's just a nice gesture. And I don't know how to make coffee, so..."

"Bro, same!"

After fussing with the coffee maker for five minutes, Rob popped a few slices of wheat bread into the toaster and finished it off with a bright green avocado spread and some pepper. Soon after, the other boys crowded the kitchen, each of them wandering their separate ways to feed themselves and the girls. Aaron immediately caught Rob's eye, who was making his way toward the sink in salmon swim trunks and sunglasses perched on top of his head. Although he had just gotten Kendall's approval to chat with Liv and Leah about the situation, it was Aaron who initially planted the idea, so it made sense to him that he should also be his cheerleader.

"Hype me up, bro," Rob whispered to him, "Give me a little affirmation here."

"You don't need affirmations," Aaron protested sassily.

"Come on, dude, I need just a little one."

Aaron turned around and pointed at him. "Nose is a good nose!"

"That's not... okay..."

"World War f*cking three is about to happen!"

Rob could hear Aaron laugh with the other guys as he proceeded to take the plates of toast to the girls' bathroom.

Asshole...

The Brit's words last night were encouraging, but they turned into banter this morning, which seemed a little odd, yet something Rob could definitely get used to.

"Good morning!" he sang cheerfully as the girls applied their finishing touches to their makeup.

"Morning!" they all replied in sleepy voices.

"Leah's thing is over here," Serena said, acknowledging her absence assuming that's who he was there for.

Rob set one plate by Leah's labeled mirror and the other in front of Liv.

"Oh, thank you so much!" Liv exclaimed, "That's so sweet!"

The other women echoed her with a chorus of awww's as he left the room.

"I'm pretty good to sleep next to you, right?" Liv asked Rob as they both sank down in the round couch under the Soul Ties sign.
