The infamous text tone sounded from Kordell's pocket. Aaron watched him as he pulled out his phone and mentally read the text. It was not intended for it to be read out loud, instead it signaled to each guy that they had to choose a girl to recouple with, and Kordell happened to be the first. He stood up, looking at each girl who stood in a line one-by-one.

"Um..." he mumbled, "I would like to couple up with this girl because we've been having a few recent chats, and, you know, she seems pretty interesting, and I feel like this will be a fresh, new start. I know what my gut is telling me, and I'm gonna go for it, um, and I would like to see where things take us. I'm going for how I feel, and if that's how I feel, f*ck it, you know? Straight from the heart, I'm gonna do what I do. So, the girl that I want to couple up with is... Serena."

Serena let out a sigh of relief and approached Kordell. They exchanged a hug and a kiss before they sat down. Aaron was unsure how things had been going between them, but he had a feeling that they would end up being each other's happily ever after. Kendall's phone was the next to chime, so he stood next to declare his decision.

"I would like to couple up with this girl because ever since the beginning, it had been a little bit of a rough ride for me. I'm f*cking nervous heading into this! I've had the rug pulled under me a lot of times here. I came in here wanting to find my person, and I'm really grateful that she did come into this villa, because this girl is drop-dead gorgeous, and I am for sure buzzing every time I see her out! She makes me feel so good inside, she makes me feel so confident in myself, and she makes me want to be a better man. The girl I would like to couple up with is... Nicole."

Nicole trotted up to Kendall, grabbed his face, and pressed her lips against his. She was still new, but Aaron still wished them the best throughout the rest of their journey. Then, another phone rang. Rob reached into his chest pocket and read his message silently. Aaron could feel his guts tighten. Everyone was expecting him to choose one of the girls, who all relied on his rescue in order to see another day in the villa.

Please break the rules just this once! You pick me, you choose me, you love me... do you?

"I would like to couple up with this person," Rob began, "because they make me feel the perfect amount of nervous and comfortable at the same time. They make me feel safe and, like, oddly at home, and they make me think and feel things I don't think I should be thinking or feeling! They managed to become my strongest connection here, which I think says a lot about how my past connections had been, no offense. Honestly, if I had to put it into one word, I would just say bliss. We go together like avocado and toast, and it's been really nice and a little bit crunchy! The person I would like to couple up with is..."

Sh*t, he's definitely looking at the girls...

Panicked, Aaron made eye contact with Kaylor. If worst came to worst, he would choose her. Although it didn't end well between them, she was the only other one he felt something for thus far. He gazed back at Rob, and to his surprise, he was starting to walk over to him, dodging the firepit in the middle of it all.

"...Aaron," he stretched a hand out to him, "I choose you. I came here looking for my person, and it ended up who I least expected it to be. We automatically clicked as best friends, but surprisingly, we grew to be more than that, which wasn't an easy road. I learned so much about myself during my time here, but most importantly, I valued my time with you. I love you, Aaron, and I don't care what anybody else here or watching this thinks!"

Leah mouthed "f*ck you" to Rob from across the way, but he rolled her eyes at her. Instead, he bent down on one knee, holding Aaron's hand.

"So, Aaron," he wore that same goofy smirk from the Hideaway, "Will you leave the villa with me? I already can't wait to start our life on the outside!"

Aaron sprung out of his seat with his head spinning in disbelief, but he had some unfinished business to take care of before he could announce his answer.

"I want to say something first," he turned to face Kaylor, "Kaylor, you were my only other connection here. I just want to say that I'm sorry for how I handled things on my behalf and it's a little sad that it all ended terribly, but I have found my forever partner! Rob is the one I want to be with, and I hope that you will find your person soon, too!"

A tear trickled down Kaylor's cheek, which she dabbed away with her finger. She nodded, wishing him the best in his love story.

"Anyway, just wanted to get that out there," he finished, turning to Rob again, "Yes, Rob, I want to run away with you!"

Hand in hand, they ran to the entrance without their belongings but halted in their tracks.

"I also want to say something before we leave," Rob announced, analyzing everyone's puzzled expressions, "I wanted to piggyback off of what Aaron just said. Liv, there wasn't much there between us, but I wish you the best in finding your soulmate. Leah, same for you, if you could take back what you just mouthed to me earlier. In fact, I hope everyone here gets their happy endings! You've all made this an unforgettable summer, and I'll miss you guys on the outside!"

"Yeah," Aaron added, "I love you all, and I'll never forget you!"

They exchanged waves and goodbyes with the other islanders before they continued their way past the exit. They stopped in front of the heart shaped "Loves Me Not" neon sign and Aaron grabbed Rob's head, pulling it close to his with a kiss. In return, he rested his hands on his waist. This was going to be their last kiss for about a week, before Aaron would pack his bags, move to America, and settle down at the farm with Rob. After they would cheer on the other islanders from home, they would travel the world together, departing on an adventure of a lifetime and obviously catching snakes along the way. Their time on Love Island was over, but this was also just the beginning of their timeless fairytale.
