"Caw! Wake up! It's morning!" The crow screamed at three demon slayers.
"Uh. What the hell." Inosuke groggily said, to his side was Nezuko, who already sat up and was currently listening to the crow. To Nezuko's other side was Zenitsu, who despite having the strength to sit up, his mind was completely off the table.
"What's going on?" Zenitsu's eyes continued opening and closing, his mind bouncing between its awakened state and its asleep state.
"The casualties of the infinite train are increasing. More than forty are now missing. You are to join Rengoku Kyojuro on site. Head west at once!" The crow briefed them on their new mission, the trio were to head out early in the morning and reach the infinity train before it departed.
Nezuko thanked the crow and made sure to follow its instructions. As it was their first ever mission with a Hashira, the flame Hashira to be exact. Nezuko also reminded herself to ask the questions she had in mind about the Hinokami Kagura, since her breathing was similar to flame breathing either way.
Before the trio departed Nezuko went around the butterfly mansion to thank everyone and give her last goodbyes before she left since everyone here helped her, Zenitsu and Inosuke recover from their last disastrous mission. And it would most likely be a very long time before she ever visits again.
"Aoi! We're going to be leaving very soon so I just wanted to say thank you for everything and will be seeing you later!" Nezuko saw Aoi doing some of the laundry so she took the opportunity to help a bit and say her last thank yous and goodbyes.
"It's been a long time since I saw you Nezuko, I'm glad we could finally spend some time with each other, even if it was very limited. Farewell and good luck." Aoi kept her stern voice despite their very close friendship.
"Thank you again, Aoi! See you soon, hopefully!" Nezuko ran off, hoping to find Kanao anywhere around here. Eventually she did come across her sitting on a porch of the butterfly mansion.
"Kanao! There you are!" Nezuko ran up to Kanao and sat next to her. Giving her a warm smile. "We'll be heading out very soon. I just wanted to say thank you for everything and hope to see you soon!"
Kanao returned the smile, "of course Nezuko, I'll always help you out. Good luck for your mission and farewell."
Nezuko gave Kanao a tight hug before heading off to find Zenitsu and Inosuke. The trio all changed into their demon slayer uniforms, apart from Inosuke of course since he somehow always remains shirtless no matter the situation.
Before they could leave however, each of them had to use total concentration breathing constant to break the largest gourds the butterfly mansion could offer. If they hadn't gone through the training they had just done it might have been impossible but due to their rigorous training and practice it was like second nature almost. The trio managed to burst the gourds without much difficulty.
"Here you go." One of the girls brought forth a box of neatly packed rice balls.
Inosuke saw the offering of food and was about to dive straight in for it but Zenitsu managed to stop him, preventing Inosuke from devouring the food right here and now.
"Please go out and defeat tons of demons." The girls said in unison.
"We'll try our best." Nezuko replied to the girls while Zenitsu was busy holding back Inosuke from eating all the food. Despite his best efforts Inosuke still managed to get his hands on some of the rice balls.
The girls gave them their last goodbyes, and waved off the group of slayers, the slayers waved back and headed for the direction of the 'infinity train'.
