Chp 3. Accidents Happen, We Guess?

Kai stretched on his bed. He sat up and leaned a bit off his bed to see if anyone else was up.

Jay was asleep as he was sprawled across his bed; his bedding all jumbled up. Pretty typical of Jay. He continued looking before seeing a figure through the bathroom door, or whatever divides their sleeping area from the bathroom, he honestly didn't quite know. It was Zane, he was brushing his teeth.

Kai adjusts his pajamas to cover himself properly then hops off the top bunk of the bunk bed. Looking under his bed Kai saw Cole still sleeping, he slept much more still then Jay. Yet again anyone sleeps much more still compared to Jay. Kai clears the throat before speaking. "Sooo. Zane it's such a lovely morning isn't it?" Kai grinned as he stepped closer to the bathroom door.

Zane slightly slid the door open. "I will not help you prank Jay, or Cole as they are sleeping. And yes, it is a lovely morning." Zane said to Kai, as he went back to brushing his teeth. "Whattt.. phhff, I would never!" Kai scoffed. Zane only responds with a annoyed stare. He stays silent waiting for Kai to admit it. "What?! I wouldn't!" Kai said a bit more loudly as he took a step backwards to act offended. "Of course you wouldn't, yes. Totally." Zane smiles as he turns back to sink to finish brushing his teeth.

"But I wouldn't!" Kai whines before a pillow is chucked at his head. He slightly lost his balance with the sudden pillow attack. "What the hell!" He turned over to see Cole up, and behind him with a stupid grin on his face. "Morning you two, what's Kai trying to start up?" Cole spoke as he ruffled the top of Kai's head. Kai gasped.

He pushes Cole's hand away. "For your information, I'm simply proving a serious point to Zane!" Kai exclaims as he crossed his arms proudly. "He was denying that he wanted to make me help him pull a prank of you, or Jay as you were still asleep." Zane spoke up, he opened the door so he could fit though as he exited the bathroom. "Zane!" Kai shouted the tone of his voice sounding embarrassed. Cole chuckles.

The sky was just blue, with no clouds in sight. Destiny's Bounty slightly shook from the breeze. Everyone was of the deck doing something. Nya was just walking around, Cole and Zane were training against each other. Kai watches them before turning away and going to tye except of the deck.

Kai looked below the ship seeing the rocky terrain underneath. "Hey, Guys? Are we parked on a mountain?.." Kai asked with heavy concern. A soft chuckle is heard. "Yeah? What you scared, Kai?" Nya teased as he stood next to Kai. "Nah, more concerned for Jay. He's totally going to freak about this." He responded. "Speaking of Jay, is he still sleeping?" Nya asked. "He still is!" Zane exclaimed. Nya turned to Zane. "Of course he is." Nya sighs, she turned to her brother. "Go wake him up, he's in your a team." She says as she walks into the control room. Kai groans. "Fine!"

Kai left left go the their sleeping quarters, to where he saw Jay still asleep. He sighed as he got closer to Jay's bed. "Wake up, Blue Boy!" Kai shouted at Jay. Jay shifted slightly, "Five more minutes.." he murmurs against his pillow. Kai huffed. "Fine, I guess I'll just fix your machine by myself." Kai replied with a evil grin on his face. He had no clue to fix machines, nor what the machine Jay was working on was. "You wouldn't dare!" He perked up and exclaimed; pointing at Kai. "Oh but I would!" Kai answered.

"No you won't!"

"Yes I would!"

"Nuh uh!!"

"Yuh uh!"

"Nuh uh!"

"Yu-"

"If you two could stop bickering, and head to the control room that you be wonderful! We still have a snake and a Lloyd problem to deal with. Over and out!" Nya interrupts through the bounty's intercom system, her voice laced in sarcasm. "Oh right.." Jay muttered. "Yeah.. Okay, we'll be there, sis!" Kai replied as left the sleeping quarters. Jay quickly fixed his hair and followed Kai.
