Kai's head hung lower than usual, his body was heavy. He slightly struggled to keep himself sitting up straight. He sat next to his sister and Cole. The voices of his teammates and sister sounds distant but still auditable.
"Then werid robotic guy just fell out of the sky!" Jay exclaimed as he threw his arms up. "Samurai, he was a samurai, Jay. And he was in a mech, he wasn't a robot." Zane spoke up. Jay quickly glared at Zane before going back to talking.
"He argued with Pythor but he got away. Zane still ended up thanking the Samurai dude. And you wanna know what he's does to Zane? He sprayed him with something that knocks him out! The he does it to all of us!" Jay complained about his story with the mysterious samurai.
"Yeah, it was werid and just being annoying." Cole added on. "Well maybe he had good intentions, but just didn't know how to show them?" Nya spoke up as he poked her fork into her food. The ninja, minus Kai, stared at Nya. "What?" She asked.
"Nya, are you defending the guy that took our spotlight when he could barely keep Pythor distracted! Are you also forgetting that he made us unconscious with some random mist?" Jay snapped.
"Woah calm down, Jay. It wasn't that big of a deal, it was just some guy, we'll probably never see him again." Cole spoke over Jay; the light brunette sighs. "Fine." He mutter under his breath.
Kai turns his head over to Wu then to Cole. "Coleee. Collllleee." He whispers to Cole. "What's up, Kai?" Cole responded. The burnette fails to point at Wu discretely. "Look at Sensei's beard its like snakes that go stsrsssss." Kai spoke. Everyone looked at Kai in worrying matter.
"Sensei, when will the Venomari venom wear off.." Nya asks as she glanced at Kai. "It's starting to get a annoying." She added. "That will take time." Wu responded before turing to Kai. "He should be fine, in the meantime." He adds. "Since that's basically settled, Pythor released the rest of the serpentine and legend says that they'll release a great devour-er.." Cole spoke up. Jay and Nya have Cole a werid look. "What?" Jay muttered. Cole just shrugged his shoulders.
"Well no matter what comes in out way, we still have the sacred flute in our possession." The Sensei replied. A small frown appeared on Cole, Jay, and Zane's face. "Well Sensei the funny thing about that is.." Jay spoke before being interrupted by Zane. "Pythor stole the flute." Zane bluntly says. Wu sighs with his shoulders dropping. "We're sorry Sensei." Jay softly spoke.
"My ninja, you four are Ninjago's last hope. You are all dismissed, sleep. You need your sleep, all of you." Wu announces as he stood up. "Wait, Sensei. What do we do about Pythor. He could be planning with the rest of the serpentine." Zane questions as he got up and approached Wu. "You'll need your sleep for tomorrow's battle." Everyone looked at each other before sighing. "Yes, Sensei." They all spoke. Cole held Kai steady as everyone flooded out the room.
When everyone was out of the room and on the deck to go to their sleeping quarters. The beeping of the alarm started. "Serpentine." Cole murmurs, clearly annoyed. The ninja soon rushed to get their weapons and headed to the control room. Inside the control room was Nya, she was in front a screen. She was seeing the details of the what caused the alarm to set off.
"Where are the serpentine?" Jay exclaimed with his golden nunchucks held tightly in his hands. Nya turned to ninja. "Uh do you guys really think Kai is a good condition to go this mission? He's already having a hard to to stand still on his own. Cole is literally holding him up." Nya spoke as he pointed at Kai and Cole.
Cole looked down at Kai and then back at res of the ninja. "Hm, Nya's got a point here guys. The venom is still affecting still." He spoke up. Jay and Zane nodded. Kai looked at his teammates before speaking softly. "What..?" Cole looked away from Kai. "I'm sorry bud, but it'd be better for the mission.

The sun rested low in the sky, Lloyd had been wandering around the streets of Ninjago City aimlessly. His head hung low, watching his every step looked down at his feet as he walked. He'd lost hope to find something he could or want for his advantage.
Lloyd turned his head up to see a familiar building in the distance. "Is that seriously the museum again! This is the fifth time I've walked passed that stupid building!" Lloyd complained as any surrounding people near him inched away. The child noticed how any surrounding people inched away from him. So began to hiss at them. Some of the people started to speed walk away from the child.
Lloyd turned to a random alleyway. It was a short alleyway with two commercial garbage bins that were grossly over flowing with trash. Did he really want to stay here, the alleyway just reeked of 'homeless people'. No, he wasnt going stoop so low. He'd fine a decent place to stay in for the night. The blonde left the alleyway to go back to roaming the streets. Truly mind numbing for Lloyd.
Ninjago City was surprisingly quiet, the streets got emptier and emptier the lights from buildings got dimmer. And soon there was just Lloyd walking around the streets of Ninjago City during the night.
The child's feet dragged on the sidewalk with each step; he struggled to keep his eyes open. The blonde yawns as he continues to walk from all the walking he as done as he's finally started walking somewhere else. (It took him 9 times of looping around the museum to find put he should to stop just turning left.)
The once well designed buildings that surrounded Lloyd were now buildings that have seen better days. The sidewalk and road were rough and cracked. And yet, this part of the city was still quite alive, so that was a bit comforting. The streets were well lit, empty, but still alive. By the time the blonde as gotten to this part of the city it was already the late evening.
So he was starting to get a bit desperate for a place to sleep for the night. Maybe a little to desperate for his own liking as every alleyway just seemed so appealing, they were clean and dark. He reallydint want to go there but once again, desperate times called for desperate measures.
Lloyd walked into the closest alleyway, it just seem perfect oddly enough. But just reeked of 'homelessness' to Lloyd. The child sat next to a sliver trash can. He was hesitant to sit there but he'd just grown so tired. His eye lids grew heavier and heavier until they finally closed. He fell asleep, sitting on the ground with his back leaning leaning against a trash bin.
