When Chasity and Michelle left to see a ballet, the first thing August did was pop two Oxycodone pills and take a shower. It was his first childfree night in weeks, so he wanted to soak up every second of it. Though he still worried about Chasity, he allowed himself to somewhat relax to enjoy the next few hours alone. While he would've preferred to spend the whole time high and alone, he made plans with Jayce and Thaddeus to grab a few drinks at a nearby bar.
Thaddeus suggested the night out to August's surprise. The couple of days on set were tense between the two best friends, especially when Thaddeus caught Lola and August talking privately. They were only talking for Lola to give August the autograph for Chasity and for her to thank him. August kept telling her she didn't have to, but she insisted. Over the last few days, he noticed her attitude and demeanor shifted to a calmer one. He didn't care when it was the opposite, but it was interesting seeing her behave in a more pleasant manner.
Though her behaviors toward him changed, it didn't apply to everyone, leaving August unsure on his thoughts about her. By now, August assumed Thaddeus must've done something to her. However, he didn't see why multiple other people had to pay for it. The situation was something August was curious about, but he didn't care enough to try and ingestigate further.
August was grateful for the autograph, though. Lola gave Chasity a signed movie poster and a t-shirt from one of her movies, both of which happened to be Chasity's favorites. The look on Chasity's face when August gave her the items was precious. All she kept doing was sending him 'thank you' texts when she received the items. August would do anything in the world to see her face break out into a smile so wide her eyes dark brown eyes were barely visible.
It was safe to say the week turned around for the better on Wednesday, so August didn't mind going out to relax and finish off his week with a few drinks.
"I love the luxury of being someone important, but not famous enough to where people are stalking me everywhere I go. Unless you're in the film world, you wouldn't really know who we are," Thaddeus said as the men got seated in barstools in front of a tall, black top table.
