it was currently 12pm and i just woke up. i haven't talked to javon or anyone from his family. i was too scared. he's texted multiple times so i know that jaden told him about what happened.

i shut my phone off for the rest of the day. "honey?" my mom asked knocking on the door. my face was buried into the pillows.

i've been crying for hours, i haven't eaten anything. "honey" she said sitting down next to me, "you have some company" she said rubbing my back.

"i have work, i'll see you later. i love you" she said kissing my forehead. "vanessa" i heard my name, i looked up to see jayla.

"jayla" i said surprised sitting up. "what did you do?" she asked. "javon has been off all day. he won't let me what's wrong" she said sitting down on the edge of my bed.

"i fucked up" i cried, "what happened?" she asked. "i kissed jaden" i mumbled. "what?" she asked surprised, "it didn't mean anything. i swear" i said. she looked at me angrily and got up.

"javon fucking loves you! he planned a whole date night for you just to say it. i helped him set everything up" she said raising her voice.

"jayla, please. i'm sorry. i didn't mean to hurt jav-" i felt a stinging pain on the right side of my face. i held it with my hand and looked at jayla.

"don't you ever talk to us again" she said and walked out of my room. "jayla please wait!" i said running after her. "i didn't mean for any of this to happen!" i yelled.
