nessa's pov

i woke up extra early to get ready. daelo's big game was today and i promised i would be there. i'm a little nervous to see the walton's after everything that went happened.

i got out of the shower and got dressed, i put on a red tube top, baggy black jeans, and my black/white vans. i placed on some jewelry and grabbed my things.

jayla and jaden offered to pick me up before the game, so they will be here any minute now. i made sure i had everything and waited outside until they came.

jayla pulled up softly beeping her horn. i smiled and waved. i got in the backseat, "hello my love" i said kissing her cheek. "hi jaden" i smiled. "hey nessa" he smiled back.

"you look so cute" jayla smiled, "thank you!" i replied. jayla drove off to the park where the game was being played at. "uh nessa. there's something we have to
tell you" jayla said.

"what's up?" i asked, "uh so javon's gonna be here and i think coco is with him" jaden said. i shifted in my seat, "that's okay" i replied trying to let my emotions not show.

"i'm sorry we should have told you sooner" jayla said, "it's okay! really!" i said. "i'm here for daelo" i said. jayla parked the car and we got out.

"don't worry my parents know you're coming and they're so excited! they miss you a lot actually" jaden said. "they don't know what happened?" i asked.

"i explained everything to them. they understood" jaden smiled softly. "javon not so much. he thinks i'm in love with you or something" jaden scoffed.

"nessa! you came!" daelo yelled running towards to me. "hey i promised i would" i smiled bending down to give him the biggest hug. "i missed you so much" i said hugging him tightly.

"don't leave again" he joked, i laughed. daelo took my hand and took me to his parents. "nessa! hey kiddo" dj said hugging me, "hey dj! hey jessica" i smiled hugging them. "good to see you honey" jessica said.

i stood at the end in between jayla and jaden. that's when i saw him. it's been months since i saw him and talked to him. it felt like a dream.

he had a big smile plastered on his lips and a pretty brunette on his arm. she beautiful in person. the couple came to the bleachers and hugged jessica and dj.

then they made our way towards us, "hey jayla!" coco smiled hugging her, "hey coco" jayla replied hugging her back.

"nessa" javon's smile faded so fast, "nessa?" coco questioned turning to javon. "i'm coco. javon's girlfriend nice to finally meet you" coco smiled holding out her hand. "hi im vanessa" i said shaking her hand.

javon walked past me and stood next to jaden. it was obvious to hear what javon was saying since i was standing on the opposite side of jaden.

"ho could you invite her? after everything? are you just trying to rub it in my face?" javon asked. "javon what are you talking about? she's here for daelo! and probably because she still loves you" jaden said.

"we told her im the car you and coco were coming and she still decided to come. there is nothing going on between us. i don't know why i have to keep telling you that. i would never hurt you" jaden said.
