It was Sunday, so everyone was at home. Mr. Malik and Mr. Rashid were sitting in the lounge, talking to each other. Just then, Asif Khan arrived and greeted them with “Assalamualaikum.”
Mr. Malik, smiling, responded, “Waalaikumsalam, come in Asif, have a seat.”
Asif Khan sat down on a nearby sofa.
Mr. Malik then asked Zainab to arrange tea and snacks.
Turning to Asif, Mr. Malik asked, So, tell me, have you found a girl for my son?
Asif Khan smiling replied, Yes Mr. Malik, that’s why I came to your house so early today.
Curious Mr. Malik asked, Really? Who is she? Tell me in detail.
Asif Khan said, You might know him, have you heard of Yunus Siddiqui? He owns a leather products factory.
Mr. Malik responded, Yes I know him.
Asif Khan continued, I’ve come with a proposal for his daughter for Zayyan. The girl is still studying, she’s pursuing a degree in biotechnology. She’s very bright and well-mannered, always comes first in her class. She would be perfect for our Zayyan.
Mr. Malik said, Well we have no objections. Why don’t you talk to them? We’ll go see the girl tomorrow and then discuss everything.
Asif Khan said, Alright I will go today itself. Just pray that they don’t refuse.
Mr. Malik said, Inshallah Allah will make everything better. Come, let’s have some tea and snacks.
Asif Khan laughed and said, Sure let’s do that.

Sara was planning to go out with Minal today. She wore a light pink frock and pants, left her hair loose, and applied a little makeup. Looking at herself in the mirror, she said, Perfect.
After getting ready she went downstairs, said goodbye to her mother, and left.
A little later, Sara arrived at a café and saw Minal already sitting there, waiting for her. Smiling softly, Sara approached her and said, ”Assalamualaikum.”
Minal, staring at her, replied, “Waalaikumsalam, madam. How did you get so late today?”
With a gentle smile still on her face, Sara said, “There was a lot of traffic, that’s why I’m late. Anyway, tell me, how do I look?”
Minal laughed and said, “Darling, you look absolutely beautiful.”
Sara smiling said, “Thank you.”
Minal then asked, Why are you so lovely, Sara?
Sara replied, I don’t know, but if you keep flirting with me like this, my husband will be jealous after we get married.
Minal laughed and said, No worries, I still won’t stop flirting with you. She blew her a flying kiss.
Sara burst into laughter and said, Alright alright.
Now order something. I’m hungry, she said. Minal replied, I already placed the order before you arrived. Our tasty food should be here soon.
Sara said, Okay great.
A little while later, the waiter brought their ordered dish to the table.
Sara and Minal happily started eating.
After finishing their meal and making the payment, they both left for their respective homes.
